My local Home Depot dropped the price of this Dewalt MaxFit Ultra 3-in-1 right angle adapter set.
It was already a good value at $29.88, but $19.88 is of course even better.
Not all stores might still have this in stock, and there’s no guarantee they dropped the price too. But if you’re headed to Home Depot anyway, it might be worth keeping an eye out for this attachment set.

The 3-in-1 right angle attachment set, DWAMRA238, features Dewalt’s modular adapters. It comes with a right angle 1/4″ bit adapter, and a 3/8″ square drive socket adapter.
You can use the adapters as-is, or with the included handle attachment.

Both adapters come with removable side handle attachments.
I am seeing online pricing of $19.88 and $29.88, depending on the selected store. If you see the higher price, try changing the zip code or fulfillment store.
At the time of this posting, the basic right angle screwdriver bit accessory is $30 at Home Depot. The holiday deal bundle included the 3/8″ right angle socket adapter at no added cost.
Now that it’s on post-holiday clearance, you get both right angle adapters and save an extra $10.

Whether or not it’s a good deal depends on your needs.
I have a couple of right angle adapters that I seldom use, and recently purchased a Dewalt cordless ratchet – still on sale with a PowerStack battery – and so I passed on the deal.

If you only want a right angle screwdriver bit adapter, check out this other holiday deal, where you get a basic assortment of drill and driving bits plus a MaxFit adapter for $20. This is the one-piece adapter, not the modular kind.
James
I have the 1 piece and use it quite often. Important bit of kit. I bought one for another kit recently and was looking at the modular one, but it seemed bulkier and the options unnecessary for my needs so I went with another 1 piece. Good value though for $20.

Typo: “right angle 1/4″ but adapter”.
I have (and like) the smaller Milwaukee one but appreciate the heads up.
These adapters are incredibly useful. Especially when combined with ¼” shank drill bits they allow you to get into places that would otherwise be impossible to reach.
Stuart
Thanks, *fixed!*

It’s not clear from the pics…are the RA adapters impact-rated?
Jack Brown
Yes, the item description says they are impact ready.
Oddball
Will they work with any, old school drill driver that takes quarter inch bits? I have a Craftsman 19.2 drill driver, and a Porter-Cable drill driver as well. Thanks in advance!
MM
Yes, these work with any 1/4-inch hex capable tool, drill/driver or impact wrench. I’ve even used them with a manual screwdriver handle.
They’re honestly handy to have around even if you have fancier tools like the 4-in-1 or 5-in-1 “installation drivers” because of how small the attachment is; these can fit into some very tight spots. They also don’t take up much room in your box/bag.

This is a handy thing to have. I picked up a different version last year as an add on to a bit set. I regretted not buying one in the past. Not something I’ve used many times- but great to have in a kit for when it’s needed!
Randy
These have been marked down for a few weeks.

Last time I fell for Home Depot price drop was for the Dewalt Organizer. Tool Guyd , 2020, 2021 and 2023. Never found them on any “price drop” and barely found any in any Home Depot anywhere near me.
Now it’s this “price drop” at $19.99 or $29.88, maybe. I find that chasing phantom prices at Home Depot is more work than just buying elsewhere.
Scott K
Items like this that are in the holiday/gift section can move quickly and online stocking lists aren’t always accurate which can be frustrating.
HD sometimes sends emails notifying of a “price drop” for an item you viewed while logged in to your account. Sometimes these are just a few cents which I find annoying.
Stuart
I get those “price drop” emails too, and found that 99% of them are useless algorithmic spam.
They usually reference month or weeks-ago prices, not the holiday prices I was just looking at, with the “price drop” notification not telling me anything I didn’t already know.
Maybe that’s what Ray is complaining about. *shrug*

What r u rambling on about u type it online in the Home Depot. U just making stuff up for no reason. You sound lazy and dumb

No need for insults, J.

In 2022, after Stuart posted about a deal on DeWalt shallow organizers, I ordered couple of these on the HD web site, and they were available for pick-up, in a locker, in about an hour, or two. After that, these same organizers were showing up as orderable, for in-store pick-up or free delivery, for the next few weeks.
The thing is, I never saw these organizers in my nearest store, on the floor, during all the holiday season. At the same time, in another store (in ABQ), the shallow organizers were available in the holiday gifts area, in rather large quantities.

I was in the Reston Va store this evening and it is as described 20 bucks. Love your content and site! Merry Christmas All.

Another Reston-ite? Small world

Had one version of these in my cart on and off for the last year. Finally pulled the trigger with these.

I ordered this set in the morning, and it was ready for pick-up in 50 minutes.
In the same local store, in the holiday gifts area, this set is still $29.88, though.
Uncle Ralph
I just bought it online for the $19.88 with free shipping. Seems like a good deal to me! Thank you!

$20 in Issaquah, WA. Already had the fixed DeWalt one but couldn’t pass this up. I’m impressed with the heft the heads have. Clearly good gears inside.
Scott
Tried to buy one. Shows 19.98. add to cart 29.98 unless you pick up in store. Real bummer.
JeffD
Online price showed $19.98, during checkout it dropped to $17.89. Total $19.14 w/ free next day delivery. Thanks!
Edward T
I’d love to know how you got that to work. My experience was if you want delivery, you pay full price. Though I too did get my veterans discount.
JeffD
No special tricks. I added to my cart and I noticed the price drop. I clicked the free delivery option instead of store pick-up, which would have been the $19.88 price.

Lucky you. $29.98 on line now, no discount.
Stuart
I still see it at $20 – change your zip code to shop around.
Edward T
Yes, you can change your zip to get the lower price. Yes, it will show in your cart for that lower price. Just don’t click on “free delivery”. Delivery may be free, but you can forget the lower price.
