In the midst of July 4th sales and an anticipated flash sale for the upcoming Prime Day event, Home Depot kicked off another round of tool deals of the day for 6/30/25.
As usual, Home Depot’s limited time sale features a lot of Milwaukee and Ryobi tools with some Dewalt, Ridgid, and other brands mixed in.
The deals focus on cordless power tools, outdoor power tools, hand tools – mainly Milwaukee mechanics tools – and power tool accessories.

Some of these are great bargains, but others not so much. There aren’t a lot of new tool deals here, but it might still be worth a look to see if there’s a discount or sale bundle on anything from your shopping list.
From the looks of it, Home Depot is throwing in some of their “free tool with purchase” offers and knocking down the price a bit.
For example, at the time of this posting you can buy a Milwaukee M18 5Ah battery 2-pack for $199 and get a free tool with it, from among a limited selection. With the deal of the day, you can get some of the same bundles for $189, such as with a Top-Off AC adapter.
You sometimes need to look closely. In this case, there are 2 Milwaukee M18 cordless sander deals. With one, you get a 2-pack of 5Ah batteries and the sander for $189. With the other, you get an M18 starter kit with 5Ah and 2Ah batteries, a charger, and the sander, and it’s also priced at $189.
It’s good to have options, although I wish they also had deals on the newer sanders.
This deal of the day has a bunch of Ryobi and Dewalt pressure and power cleaner deals, and also a bunch of Anker battery power stations (again).

As i said in another post, about 50% of tools in the isle, and on the sale flyer, are Milwaukee.
Thats leave very few available other brands on the shelves to the ones like me that don’t like that red tool.

I also saw the preorder listings, and this strongly suggests the mowers are coming to the USA.
I don’t know anyone at Honda. I can ask Acme, but I think it’ll be moot until the mowers are in-stock or available for immediate shipping.

I came across this site while trying to Google for tool kit sets. Nice work on everything but I must admit I am a little overwhelmed.
I wonder if you might be able to point me at the right tool set, or kits for my intended tasks. I recently got into building spec houses – I am on my first one.
What I want to do is pay to have them framed, roofed and sided and then i come in and do stuff like install the kitchen, install trim and moulding, hang doors, TV’s, hang drywall, repair or replace siding as needed and then build things like patio gazebo’s or other outdoor smaller projects.
I was thinking of buying a rigid skill saw 7-1/4″ corded because they’re fairly cheap and then buying Milwaukee 18v fuel drill and impact with the 2 free 4ah batteries and then maybe a corded chop saw for the trim work.
Would something like the Ryobi one+HP kit with a bunch of those tools, and that tiny nailer be good enough for my purposes or do you recommend buying the individual pieces like I mentioned above?

Not knowing what you’ll run into, Milwaukee’s M18 Fuel 7pc combo kit tends to be a good starting point. Home Depot doesn’t have it in stock right now, but you can find it at Acme Tools and others dealers.
The circular saw is 6-1/2″, but you can add a corded or cordless 7-1/4″ or rear-handle or worm drive saw later. The same with a miter saw.
Especially for something like a gazebo, you’ll want the M18 Fuel drill and impact tools, and maybe also a cordless circular saw for portability.
It might sound shallow, but you don’t want a client for your spec houses coming by and seeing you with a Ryobi cordless setup.
You can add compact M12 tools for finish work – maybe the M12 Fuel 4-in-1 installation drill/driver.
