Milwaukee M12 Fuel Surge Impact Driver Kit with Soldering Iron

Home Depot kicked off new tools of the day and Pro tool deals of week, featuring Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, and Ryobi cordless power tools, bundles, accessories, and more.

The Milwaukee M12 Fuel SURGE impact driver and soldering iron kit, shown above, is one of the more random-seeming deals bundles. You wouldn’t think these tools go together, but apparently they do, with the kit and added tool being on sale for $165.

Some of today’s deals are repeats from last week’s deal of the day at Home Depot, but there are some new ones mixed in, such as the M12 Fuel bundle.

Home Depot’s PRO tool deals of the week feature Milwaukee, Ryobi, and Ridgid tools, power tool accessories, hand tools such as Milwaukee’s 30pc combo wrench set, Bosch laser levels, Milwaukee ratcheting wrench sets, RedLithium USB lighting products, and more.

One of the deals of the week features a Milwaukee M18 Force Logic electrical knockout punch kit and 2 sizes of conduit benders for $200 less than the knockout kit by itself. By my math, you end up saving around $360 on the bundle.

There’s a LOT going on, with both sales events warranting a quick look.

For a hot second today at 1500 CST, they had the surge combo kit with a free tool at 199. Included in the free tools were the new M12 pruner at 99$ after hack, and the M12 submerged pump same price.

I didn’t pull the trigger on it, waited until after work, and now the deal 2 hours later is gone

This interesting rebate is something I found when poking around: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/E-Rebates/Ferguson/2024/P3/2024-P3-Packout-Large-Wall-Plate – buy a large packout plate from Ferguson and get three accessories free on rebate.

Home Depot just ended something similar where you could get TWO accessories if you bought a plate. Often rebates appear at Home Depot as free items, so it may pop back up.

That 1/2″ deep impact socket set for $60 is a great deal. Milwaukee refuses to share the alloy they’re using for their impact sockets (most companies do so without fuss), but they seem to hold up well enough at least for mid- to high-mid torque. Tekton is usually a better deal and their comparable kit has more sizes, doesn’t skip some important ones, but at $60 this Milwaukee is a winner. Except for that bulky plastic case…best for a shop shelf or thrown in the truck…it’s a worthy case, though.

I have wanted both the Surge and soldering iron for a while now but didn’t want to pay the full price for each. I ordered a set when I saw your post this morning. Very happy with this. Thank you for sharing!

Some really good deals on a few recent Milwaukee Pipeline tool updates are included in these sales. The one day sale has the updated Fuel 6 1/2” circular saw, model 2833 that replaced the older 2730 saw I had bought back in 2014. Supposed to be lighter, with a smaller base and more powerful. Regularly $229, the sale has it for $189 paired with an 8.0 battery.
Then on the Pro sale page, which runs for the week, is the updated M12 5 3/8” saw, model 2521, which just replaced the underpowered 2530. They’re selling it with two of the new 5.0 batteries and charger for $199. I had the old version and felt it really struggled and often stalled. I know the new version is supposed to be a big improvement.
