Home Depot has another round of tool deals of the day for January 9th, 2024.
There aren’t any surprises of “run, don’t walk” types of tool deals and discounts. Most of the deals look to be revisits of holiday season bargains.
The deals feature tools from Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, and Ridgid, with some Husky workshop storage equipment mixed in.

I’m kind of surprised the Bosch 12″ miter saw and rolling stand is still $599. I guess they haven’t sold enough yet.

PS. Out of stock.
Hey all, I need a planer. I want something small for now, and to add helical to it, so this model seems ideal. However, thoughts? I mean, this with a stand is about cost wise, close to a Grizzly/shopfox that HAS a spiral head ($800).
Stuart
As Big Richard mentioned, this was a deal of the day for 1/9/24.
Be careful when looking at benchtop planers and jointers. Spiral-style cutterheads are not the same as true helical cutterheads.
The DW735 has traditional knives, but the Byrd Tool Shelix cutterheads you can buy to upgrade them with are helical.
The Dewalt DW735 was discounted a couple of times over the holiday season, and I couldn’t tell you when the next sale might come.
Home Depot has the planer for $569, and you can purchase the optional infeed and outfeed tables separately. You’d also need to build or source a stand separately.

Deal was yesterday, it was a one day Special Buy of the Day.
