Lowe’s has a couple of ongoing cordless power tool deals right now, and they’re actually really good.
I am surprised and thoroughly pleased to see some hot tool deals at Lowe’s right now, especially given the lackluster promos at Home Depot, their top competitor – but I’m not complaining.
They have a lot of deals going on in a lot of tool categories, and they’re mostly special buys.

For this post, I wanted to focus on what I feel to be the 5 best bargains – the types of deals I’d surely take advantage of it I were building up my tool kit.
At the time of this posting, Lowe’s says the Bosch deals are good thru July 23, 2025, and the Dewalt deals are good thru August 6, 2025. As usual, supplies might be limited.
Buy a Dewalt 20V Starter Kit, Get 2 FREE Tools

The starter kit seems to be a bit pricey at $299, until you realize you can choose TWO free tool gifts.
You get 2x Dewalt 5Ah batteries, a charger, and two Dewalt 20V Max cordless power tools. Lowe’s has an excellent selection of Dewalt XR brushless power tools for the free tool gifts, which lets users put together a high value kit for just $299.
Home Depot has a competing Dewalt 20V promo, but I feel that Lowe’s has a much better selection of free tool gift options.
Lowe’s selection has more brushless XR tools to choose from, including a drill, impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, and cut-off tool.

Buy a Bosch 18V Starter Kit, Get 1 FREE Tool

Buy this Bosch 18V starter kit for $179, and choose 1 free tool gift option.
The starter kit comes with 2x compact 4Ah batteries and a charger. Lowe’s has some great Bosch tool gift options here too, making this a really good value.
At first glance, I thought this kit came with compact 2Ah batteries, but they’re actually CORE18V 4Ah battery packs.
I like this deal and hope Lowe’s offers more like it in the future.
Buy a Bosch 18V 2pc Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit, Get 1 FREE Tool

This deal is a little different. Buy a Bosch 18V starter kit with brushless drill, brushless impact driver, 2x 2Ah batteries, charger, and tool bag for $199, and pick 1 free tool gift to make it a 3pc starter kit.
At first I thought this gave you the drill and impact driver on top of everything from the starter kit for just $20 more, but I then realized the batteries are different.
Can’t decide between the two promos? Well do you want compact 4Ah batteries or a starter kit? Or, if you’re getting started with Bosch’s 18V cordless power tool system, get both for an excellent 4-tool and 4-battery combo kit for less than $400.
Buy a Dewalt 20V 4Ah Battery 2-Pack, Get 1 FREE Tool

While not as good as the Bosch starter kit deal, Lowe’s has a $199 promo where you get 2x Dewalt 20V Max 4Ah batteries plus 1 free tool gift.
This seems like a good option for existing Dewalt cordless power tool users who want a particular tool, such as the new DCF860 brushless impact driver, with some batteries capable of powering light and medium demand tools.
Buy a Dewalt 20V XR Brushless Hammer Drill Kit, Get a FREE PowerPack Battery

Buy this Dewalt 20V Max XR 3-speed premium hammer drill kit, with PowerPack 8Ah battery and fast charger, for $349, and you get a free bonus PowerPack battery.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this deal, but it remains highly recommended.
They have more deals happening right now – you can check them out here:

While looking at the Bosch deal I noticed new GBA18V60 6AH batteries. Same size and weight as the 8s so I’m not sure what the point of these is?? Anyone know why these have been released?
Stuart
I received one with a recent sample request. 6Ah batteries aren’t uncommon; you typically get as-high power output as 8Ah but less runtime at lower cost.
As battery makers seem to be switching to pricier tabless 4Ah cells for 8Ah battery packs, 21700-based 6Ah batteries seem to be an affordable option. Or at least that’s how it makes sense to me.
Matt_T
Would make more sense sitting below a tabless, and possibly more expensive, 8AH. Comparing it to the existing 8AH I didn’t see any reason for it. Same size and weight and about the same cost per AH.

Man that Bosch drill/driver/+1 deal is a screamer if you don’t already have the tools in some other brand. I can see that’s going to be a popular one for people to buy and flip the extra bits on Craigslist.

I think the Dewalt XR Oscillating Multitool kit with a 2 Ah battery and a couple starter blades for $99 is a fantastic deal.
Stuart
I only see the Dewalt XR OMT with the 1.3Ah or 1.5Ah battery.
Amazon (link) and Lowe’s (link) have had this deal for a while – it’s a regular seasonal promo. With Prime Day coming up, I’m hoping to see a deal on the better kit.

I have recently decided that I’d like to get a random orbital sander and an oscillating multitool. I’m already invested (to a degree) in Dewalt, with a drill/driver set, circular saw, and a couple each of the 2ah and 5ah batteries. I’m trying to decide if I’d be better off getting the $299 deal with those two tools, or just buying the sander on Amazon for sub-$100 and the multitool kit for $99. With the work I tend to do, battery availability isn’t typically a bottleneck, though it certainly wouldn’t hurt to have another couple 5ah.

You didn’t mention this one: https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-20-V-2-Pack-Lithium-ion-Battery-and-Charger-4-Ah-and-6-Ah/5015085605
Stuart
Correct. I don’t see that as a particularly good deal.
If shopping for Craftsman, I think this is a better deal – Buy a 2pc combo kit for $199, get 2 free tools. You can get more batteries separately or later, such as the 4Ah 2-pack that’s priced at $79 right now.
Frankly, there are a couple of different brands I’d choose over Craftsman. I feel they haven’t been putting much effort into the V20 cordless system at all lately, as if they’ve given up competing against Ryobi.

The kobalt deal for 99$ with a 2ah, 4ah, charger, toolbox, and free tool, has to be the best deal right now. Beats similar Ryobi and Craftsman deals and almost all the tools are brushless. I bought one when it dropped from 150 to 99. The right angle impact is not an option, but they still have a lot of good tools. Been pretty happy with the compact impact wrench so far. Would buy the sale again, but I have a lot of the tools on offer, that I would use.
Stuart
The Kobalt deal used to be $79. https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/lowes-kobalt-tool-deals-022025/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
It’s also out of stock online right now, at least from what I’m seeing.
Ciccio
I have purchased the 2 batteries and oscillating multi tools.
I cannot believe i got such a deal.
Tool is amazing, a little heavy, tried cutting a 2×4 and went trough very fast.
Bosch are good and reliable tools, in my opinion.
