Walmart is about to launch a new Hyper Tough Hyper Stack tool box and storage system, and we’re going to give you a detailed first look!
Hyper Stack was designed for versatility, durability, and accessibility, and to do all of that while being easy on your wallet.
Before we continue, you should know that I consulted for Hyper Stack during its development. They provided me with occasional updates after my contract ended, and it was amazing to see how everything evolved and came together!

Hyper Tough is doing a lot with Hyper Stack. Walmart is starting with 6 tool boxes, 2 styles of mobile carts, wall hangers and accessories, a 3-drawer tool box, and 4-wheel dolly.
Before the end of the year, there will be a total of 4 mobile options, including the “standard” 3pc tool box combo, dolly, and work carts.

There will also be wall shelves for some of the tool box sizes, for use in a garage, workshop, or wherever.

Here’s a closer look at the initial tool box selection:
- Open tote
- Briefcase-style tool box
- Organizer with translucent red lid
- Large tool box
- Rolling tool box
- 3-Drawer tool box
- 4-wheel dolly
The 3pc tool box combo, with organizer, large tool box, and rolling tool box, are said to offer IP65 rated protection against, dust and water.

Everything stacks and connects together with a One-Touch lock and release mechanism, and there are lugs on the tote and larger tool boxes for mounting external attachments and accessories.

The heavy duty work cart comes with a middle shelf that can be removed and added to the top for users who prefer a flat work surface. Additional features include 4″ casters, V-grooves for cutting pipe, and a 500 lb load capacity.
It also cart has pass-thru slots for holding longer materials such as PVC pipe, external mounting spots for hooks, bins, and other attachments, and recesses for tools, parts, and other workshop essentials.

There’s another cart, and it too is equipped with mounting locations for Hyper Tough’s new external hooks and bins.

This one can fold up for more compact storage.

The 16″ wall rails can be connected together for longer lengths, and have a total load capacity of 260 lbs (when installed as directed).

Users can move the attachments and accessories around – they connect to the wall rail and mounting points on the larger tool boxes and carts. The hooks can also be secured to the wall, vertical workbench surfaces, or similar. Installation hardware is included to help get you organized even faster.
Following is a list of everything that is heading to stores this month (October 2024). I’m told more (such as the drawers and dolly) are expected to be available before the end of the year.

Discussion
I’m a bit too close to the Hyper Stack system – I think I can see where my input might have steered things if even a little bit – but I think you’ll agree that Walmart and Hyper Tough have created something special here.
While it might not take on pricier pro-grade modular tool box systems, I think that Walmart and Hyper Tough’s new Hyper Stack system looks better than anything else you can find for close to its price point at home centers or hardware stores, and it’s more expansive, too.
The best part, at least in my opinion, is that there’s no singular centerpiece; maybe you just need a couple of hooks on the wall, or a functional utility cart for less than $100. I don’t think there’s anything else like this, at least for the price.
I haven’t tested it out in person yet, but that’s something I am very much looking forward to!
Questions? Thoughts? Are there any pieces you’d take a closer look at? What do you want to see added to the line in Phase 2?
William Adams
My takeaway from this is that it was not possible to make a wheeled base unit with drawers at a price which the market would accept due to the tradeoffs of:
– cost
– internal storage volume vs. external dimensions
– weight
– rigidity
Feeling better about not putting more money into Husky Rolling Connect, and will be buying a Tanos MW1000 Mobile Workstation for Christmas.
Julian Tracy
I actually just listed my Festool MW-1000 for sale. While i found it incredibly useful onsite, it’s big, bulky and heavy, while being fairly compact and feature packed for what it offers. But it’s a pain to load in and out of the van (without a ramp) and more importantly, I’m moving away from systainers after lining my van with the Dewalt Toughstack 2.0 drawer units.
Having fully bought into packout, then deciding Packout was basically useless for a finish carpenter, sold off the packout, bought into Stacktech, but only the very basic setup, and then decided to just utilize the many Systainers I owned for my van setup.
When HD had the glitch sale on toughbuilt ($300 off $499) I bought a ton of teh drawer units and have to say, they are the only solution I’d suggest for my use. They are compact, lock securely and in my case (or at retail, a ton less expensive and less bulky than the PO or TS drawers.
This Walmart stuff, as plastic-y as it looks in the pictures, I’ll bet feels so much more so in person. Not too bad for a garage guy, but surely not up to an on-site guy.
William Adams
Fortunately, I only need to move around my basement and up/down the steps to the back deck.
Tucker
As a finish carpenter, why do you say pack out is useless?
I’m heavily invested, but I definitely am finding some shortcomings. I just can’t bring myself to spend thousands again for another system. Especially since my trailer is full of E-track with packout shelves, wall plates, and floor plates. And it seems almost no other system has the same options of drawer sizes (2 drawer, 3 drawer, 3 mixed drawer, 4 drawer) all of which I currently use. Plus the 10 years of accumulating various PO organizers.
Daniel
I’m heavily invested in packout, but I keep thinking a cart of some kind would be handy. I do carpentry and always grab multiple tools like a drill, tape, pencil, square, saw, nail gun, etc… and move from one area to another and keep having to move all the tools. An open cart would make that much easier, just also don’t have much room in my trailer to fit a big cart, so the folding feature of this cart looks intriguing!
TomD
The folding cart is the most interesting thing by far, and it’s useful on in its without even looking into the stacking features.
I’ll want to play with it in store if possible.
Adam
The cart is an upgraded version of Amazon’s #1 selling utility cart. I believe it sells from $99-109. This upgraded version is $49🤯
A very aggressive play from Walmart
Matthew
I’m picking up that cart for $50. I got the one on Amazon on clearance at Menards for around the same price but I’ll take this for $50 to try.
CMF
I also think the folding cart is very interesting. My slight reservation would be that it cost $40 less than the standard cart, making me think it might be very flimsy.
If it is stable enough to be practical, then this is a fantastic idea.
Peter D Fox
I have several of the Olympia tools version of that style of folding cart. Bought them from Menards on clearance 5 or 6 years ago before I got into Packout. Used them quite a bit, even upgraded them to larger Polyurethane tired casters. they still get a bit of use and do store and transport well due to the folding design.
Not quite Rubbermaid or similar plastic utility cart durable but not bad for some one who has space constraints or need to travel with it in a smaller vehicle.
If this new version is even close $50 is a good price.
fred
From some of the UPC’s that I’ve spied (812368xxxxxx) on the pictures of the new offerings – I’m guessing that Olympia Tools is the OEM
Frank D
I 100% agree on the folding cart It may gain a space in my fairly compact van …
Grog
I’m a contractor, heavily invested in Milwaukee Packout, and I do mean heavily… And I am very excited about this. This looks like a very well thought out system, and I’m impressed at the price point they’re showing so far. I wouldn’t be able to switch to it, but I can see myself dipping into this and supplementing due to the pricing. That folding cart will find a way into my trailer, that’s a beauty.
No idea what input you gave for this system, but well done. Not only for the input, but becoming a name in tool reviews that was sought out for input.
Stuart
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Jared
I’m going to have to see this stuff in person. It LOOKS shockingly good for the price.
A 500lb utility cart for $89? The whole 3 box stack for $70?
When’s are the 3-drawer boxes coming? The article lists it as part of the “initial” releases, but then doesn’t have it in the October releases with pricing section.
I’m hoping we get these in Canada too. I’d be interested in some drawer units on a 4-wheel cart for when I bring tools from my shop to my garage.
Josh
I’m interested in the 3 drawer units as well!
Adam
They are set to go live online only at walmart.com the first week of Dec
Stuart
I’m told the plan is for December, hence the “before the end of the year” mention in the post.
I was also given a brief glimpse at what’s being worked on for Phase 2. I consider everything shown here to be the initial wave.
Jeff
I like the HD cart a lot, but if those dimensions are accurate it would not be very useful I think. The sizes shown are 37.01, obviously that is the height, but if it measures 10.24 by 18.9 that is a tiny footprint.
Matthewj
I see what you mean, but I have to imagine that those are the dimensions of the box that the unassembled cart comes in…
Mopar4wd
Yeah it’s bigger buried in the description it says some thing like 30″ long and 18″ wide.
Jeff
Ahh, ok, that is much better, hopefully they will edit this and include the accurate dimensions of the assembled cart.
Julian Tracy
I just bought the cart. Ordered online from Walmart and it was delivered that afternoon by some dude in a car, lol. It’s a very solid and well designed cart, nicer than the Husky cart that sold for years around $109, now sells for $149. Has 5” casters, not the 4” Stuart mentioned.
The dimensions are definitely for the box.
Bob
What’s the height of the cart?
Robert
Stuart, that was a fair and believable evaluation of the Hypertough system by you. Including disclosing your involvement up front.
Could be a real good solution for DIYers.
I do wonder how much floor space Walmart will devote to this before the holidays are up. I’d want to examine most of the components in person, but they will probably be fighting for floor space during this period versus all the impulse buying oriented stuff pushed for the holidays.
Scott K
I agree. As a homeowner/DIYer, most modular system don’t come close to making economical sense for my uses. These prices could change that, though. Most of my projects take place away from where I store tools, so a folding cart and affordable combo could make transporting tools more efficient. Some of my tools never get used in my small workshop space, so keeping them in an easy to access box on wheels could work nicely. I’d definitely want to see what to see look and feel like in person – I often order from Walmart’s website but I avoid the store closest to me because it’s typically chaotic and messy.
Goodie
Yep, these make me consider a plastic solution for home. Adding up the prices of the portable kits has tipped me back to metal tool cheats for their space efficiency and cost. These might find a place, though.
In general, the systainers (which came with many of my tools) have been really nice for any mobile finished work I’ve done. They have low volume, are generally square, and provide for mobile organization when I need it.
Adam
Definitely would have been a great opportunity to promote during holidays… hope they are reading this 🙌
AP
This looks impressive! The price is right too. The color scheme would match just about anything and the price on that heavy duty cart is sweet! Nicely done, Stuart!
KMR
Was there any ever any discussion when you were involved with Walmart, about licensing another system and producing Walmart exclusive accessories?
In the past few weeks, with the details of Makita’s new storage system and now this one, I can’t help but think that some of these lower tier systems should consolidate and work together.
Something like this: Toughbuilt StackTech as the base system, licenses extended to Makita and Walmart for accessories or derivatives that are StackTech compatible. And for a company like Makita, perhaps Toughbuilt manufacturers the base boxes in Makita’s color scheme, but the boxes are still fully interchangable across the whole StackTech universe. Walmart can produce their own MRO oriented cart, as shown above, but fully Stacktech compatible. Maybe for the StackTech drawers, Makita provides toolkits with foam inserts already to fit those drawers.
This would produce a killer system, available among different retailers and each retailer or licensed brand having some unique characteristics to drive their own sales… but ultimately all working towards a large base of customers all with inter-compatibility of the StackTech ecosystem.
I just can’t imagine that with all the expense that Makita put into their system, that it will be worth it for them. And a company like ToughBuilt, that has a great product but has clear financial and inventory issues, an arrangement like this would help guarantee a better future for their product line and provide additional revenue for inventory.
Harrison
Given the proliferation of these plastic storage systems, and they’re so far modest lineup, do you really think Makita actually put that much effort into it?
KMR
Yah, I do.
As someone that does product engineering and development, I think most people would be surprised by the enormity of time that goes into a product, especially a system of products, before it reaches the public. Large established and reputable companies, like Makita, tend to put even more resources into their efforts than smaller lower tier companies.
Saulac
I was expected to know more about the latching mechanism. Look like they are the red handles on the side. The bottom of the handle will spread out to latch onto the U on the lid. Question is if there is something to keep the handle in the unlock position when you want to unlock, or you have keep pulling on the handles.
John
All I want is a square/rectangular interior… That’s all I want… Let me easily make foam inserts. Is that honestly too much to ask for?
Adam
Foam inserts will also be launching in phase 2. Although you can already find an alternative short term I’m sure
CMF
Very nice. Of course, the price is a big head turner.
The 4th picture down showing 5 different boxes on the left and 2 of the 3 drawer + a dolly on the right side, I think this covers about 95% of people’s needs. Whatever phase 2 has, could be interesting, but if for whatever reason it never happens, what you already have here is an excellent choice.
The parts box with the red tinted cover, looks super cool, just wonder if the tint makes seeing things more difficult.
There were less than 20 comments when I wrote this, still, shocked no one has stated the perennial “the market is saturated” or “too little, too late” or the other complaints when a new storage system comes out.
There have been so many storage systems introduced over the years; some you can hang tools, or small accessory boxes, extension cords, and other novel ideas. I think these ideas can be cool, but overall, just simple, plain functional boxes works best. (I think that is what Makita was also thinking).
Stuart, not sure what input you had, but this looks like a great offering, and the prices make it a fantastic choice.
TomD
The market is nowhere near saturated at these price points. Unless it’s complete garbage tier this is a huge advancement.
JML
Clearly the increasing number of systems is likely to mean more orphaned systems in a few years, if not sooner…
David
I wonder if this is the end of the Hart tool boxes?
fred
Looks to be a new OEM (Olympia Tools – UPC’s 812368xxxxxx) versus the Hart ones (UPC’s 731161xxxxxx) from Keter Plastics. But that doesn’t say that Walmart will drop the Hart ones.
Berg
So what kind of involvement did you have in the development? Did you offer original ideas for aspects of the design or was it more in the direction of helping them understand consumer wants and needs for this sort of product?
Also, will this have an impact on the Hart modular system and it’s presence in stores?
Hon Cho
Might be good, might be great but if WalMart is the sole retailer, it’s likely not going to be a product sold nor supported for any real length of time. Probably until the next reset of the tool aisle at your local WalMart.
Curious to know if Stuart consulted for the WalMart product manager/buyer, the OEM or some product design group that WalMart either hires for such products or pitches product ideas to WalMart executives.
Goodie
Stuart, glad to see this. It’s kind of neat to see Wal*Mart and HyperTough do these sort of cool things. The value for this set and the thoughtfulness of the design is impressive.
I think the entry level DIY/homeowner tools are driving a lot of innovation and putting some pressure on the big brands. I would frankly buy a Hart or even HyperTough tool over DeWalt’s entry level kit that pops up on Amazon. (DCK240C2).
TJ
Looks and sounds like a Walmart Brand cheap knockoff off. It’s great to learn about new products but this made up brand has no history and looks to be on par with Harbor Fright or Ryobi Wanna Be Tools.
Cullen J Webb
Hey now, thems fightin’ words around me and my neon-green-blooded brethren!
fred
The OEM (UPC codes 812368xxxxxx) denotes Olympia Tools as the OEM.
My only fleeting experience with the quality of their offerings was with a pair of self-adjusting (Adjustamatic Style) wrenches that one of our plumbers picked-up at Home Depot. Sold under the Husky brand – the spring that tensions the jaw failed on the larger one soon after it was purchased. We made a note not to buy any more – staying with ones from Reed, and Ridgid. The Husky-branded one quickly disappeared from their lineup.
https://www.givenchysale.com/detail/224582281940
I have no idea if this wrench is in anyway indicative of Olympia’s quality – or was just a one-off problem.
TonyT
I’ve seen Olympia tools (such as kits of small screw drivers) but have avoided them. My impression is that they’re on the same level as HE’S Pittsburgh or Central brands.
But I doubt Olympia actually owns the factory: hopefully they are contracting with a decent factory. I will definitely check these out at Walmart before buying – I want to feel them, and check out various features first hand.
Nathan
I mean the hart stuff wasn’t bad I’ve looked at it a few times especially but I have to say I’m a bit intrigued
Cullen J Webb
The Hart Stack system is what I use. It’s perfect for a homeowner storing tools and it’s cheap enough to use for board games and projects.
This Hyper Stack system is very interesting to me as well.
Scott K
Who manufactures these and is this going to replace their Hart stuff?
Cullen J Webb
I sure hope it doesn’t replace Hart Stack, I’m deeply invested in that system.
I really hope this promotes competition between the 2 Walmart brands.
fred
The OEM (UPC codes 812368xxxxxx) denotes Olympia Tools as the OEM.
LE
I’m honestly really interested in these. I’m wondering the price point on the drawer boxes and dolly. I think a setup like that would be really nice for garage use and occasionally having to take 1 or more of the drawer boxes on the go. Also definitely interested in that cart. I’ve really come around to the Hyper Tough branding, the USA Widle made pry bars and all their funnels and drain pans made by Flotool in the USA. Also that 5×8 oil matt they sell is a great price and made in tbe USA (no idea the manufacturer). Obviously these aren’t going to be made in the USA, and I’m definitely not gonna blindly by Hyper Tough stuff or call myself a fanboy, but I’m super open to Walmart actually bringing in a quality product with the Hyper Tough brand.
TonyT
I’m quite interested – it seems like it could be next generation of the Tstak/Versastak/Husky Connect/Hart class of modular tool boxes. I doubt it’s in the same class as Ridgid Pro Gear, Packout, ToughSystem, StackPack, FlexPack, Modbox, TradeStack, etc.
What interests me: affordable pricing, dolly for drawers, drawers, crate, and folding cart. Note that Walmart claims IP65 rating.
A W
This looks really, really intriguing. As a homeowner/DIY guy, I’ve been intrigued by Packout and StackTech, but it’s tough to justify the price when I could just get another Craftsman metal box and continue storing everything in the basement.
If this is durable and high enough quality, I can absolutely see myself buying into this system.
MFC
That fold up cart looks pretty nice. My job-sites are typically littered with tools that just need a temporary place to be set while I go from one place to the next. The pack-out rolling dolly is too stationary to fill that niche and so this could be a nice additive to the set.
Old Suburban Dad
I think this will be a hit. It will move awareness of modular mobile tool storage into the mainstream. Millions of spouses and parents-in-laws well suddenly have a new gift giving option.
And just think of the ripple effects.
6 months after these launch, the average American garage is going to look 10 times better than they did before.
Honey-do lists will be decimated.
And the downward price pressure should help motivate Makita to run more sales on their Maktrak, so I can get some more of my beloved teal.
The translucent red top ! It gives me strong 80s sci-fi vibes, in the best sense.
Ray
I’m a carpentry contractor, I got tired of helpers losing expensive chargers and batteries years ago and have used the Hyper tough cordless drills/impacts extensively. I use their corded multi tool and circular saw as well. Reliable stuff.
Looking forward to these , wonder if Stuart knows if the toolbox will have a removable handle.
Norm
So it was interesting, after seeing this article, I thought that folding utility cart could be useful. I checked it out online, but wasn’t able t be shipped. There was one, in my local walmart, and the only one around for miles. I bit the bullet and got it! A friend of mine saw it, and he is not a tool guy, and thought that would be really handy. I’m personally stoked about the portability of it. I may replace the wheels on to something a bit more rugged.
Mike S
It seems these are being supplied by Olympia Tools. Do they also manufacture these or are they simply sourced from Keter Plastics?
Stuart
To the best of my knowledge, Keter is not involved with this product line.
Mike S
Thanks Stuart.
For $70, it’s a no brainer if you’re a homeowner/DIYer. Ended up ordering the 3pc combo in the morning and 7 hours later, had it at the front door delivered!
Any word on when we can expect the 3 drawers tool boxes to drop?
Stuart
Tentatively December.
(I went to my local Walmart to see what the setup looked like, and nothing was out yet. =( Will check back next week/)
nigeldh
1. No units where the lid flips forward and up. Or doors. For access from the front while stacked. Like the SK Modular Stackable Storage Tool Box which has both.
2. They also need a tub/crate with the sides slotted – so one can see inside. Or a drop front like DeWalt or Ryobi. Like the Pro Gear System Gen 2.0 Stackable 22 in Durable High-Impact Resin Box Black – out-of-stock at this time.
Cullen J Webb
I ordered the 3 piece set as soon as I saw this blog post. It came in the mail a few hours ago and I have some first impressions.
For comparison I use the Hart Stack system extensively, it more than suits my needs as a hobbyist. My brother (hi Nathan aka grog!) is a professional and uses Packout so I’m familiar with that system as well when though it’s a bit rich for my needs.
Pros:
– Price.
– Price. Yes, it needs repeating.
– Modular attachment points.
– Organizer bins can mount to the attachment points.
– Above average connection system.
– Boxes can be connected together forward or backward, may come in handy.
– Lids appear designed for half-wide boxes in the future (looking at YOU, Husky…).
Middles (depends on you):
– Comparable durability and lightweight build to Hart Stack.
– Organizer lid is opaque red, not a clear plastic like acrylic.
Cons:
– Bottoms of boxes are not flat, there is a lot of ribbing. Sliding things around in them may catch.
– Organizer bins are so close to being universal but there’s actually 2 different sizes and they need to be placed in specific rows (boo!).
– Connection system, while satisfying and easy to use, consumes a lot of the internal footprint.
– Lid retention method is crunchy, it works and keeps the lid open but at first it feels like you’re breaking something.
Overall I’m very impressed. I’ve posted pictures to Instagram if anyone is curious. I don’t think I’m going to switch from Hart, but at this price I will probably supplement my boxes in some way.
Ken
Definitely interested in this system. I don’t really need a mobile solution, and this looks cheap enough for my small workshop. The colors and branding are subtle enough which I think is important for a low-tier house brand to be used by prideful DIYers like myself.
LE
I finally saw some Hyper Stack items in store and picked up the folding cart along with some attachment accessories they had, my first impression are pretty impressive for the price! Overall build quality looks to be good, and it seems like it will withstand reasonable use. The folding and closing isn’t the easiest but it locks up well and feels very sturdy when open. Rolls and rotates super smooth, very impressive there. The only real downside/quality issue I’m noticing is the attachment nubs or spots are all of slightly varying size, the attachments all go on but some are pretty loose, some tight. Certainly wish all were tight but I can really only see them accidentally coming off because of this while folded up. I’ll probably end up getting the heavy duty, non folding version too. I didn’t see the 3 peice box stack in person, but I’d like to take a look at one to get a feel for it’s overall quality. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the drawer boxes with dolly, hopefully that will be at a good price point. I’ll definitely be getting a set (I’m guessing they’ll come like the marketing shows, 2 boxes and dolly as a set) and if I like them, possibly the 3 box stack to intermesh them with. Also some of the other attachments that are supposed to be coming as well as the individual bins will be nice.
Marc
I have purchased everything released to date. It is all quality above the retail price. I recommend all of this line to this point. I’ll buy it all once available.
LE
Yea I liked my folding cart so much I went back and purchased the HD cart. A little disappointed it doesn’t have all 4 swivel casters like the folding one does, but it’s really nice otherwise. I want to get 2 more of the swivel ones and I think it would be perfect for manuvering tight spaces. I noticed the “warranty number” on walmarts product page is the number for Olympia Tools if you Google it, I’m gonna call and see if I can get 2 more of the casters.
I’m really excited to see how the drawer boxes and dolly setup and gonna be. I’m tempted to get the 3 box stack they have now but I’ll try to wait until after I get the drawer boxes. Something else I’d like to see is maybe a 2 wheeled cart that any of the boxes will drop on and you can use as a base to your stack, like some of the other systems have. I feel like a dolley in the shop/garage and then transfer over to the cart for going mobile is ideal. I’ve been wanting to invest in a setup like this for a while but the price of others has kept me out. The price to quality of the Hyper Stack system really has me excited. I never thought I’d be saying that about a Walmart product.
Mike
Hey there! Do you have any information on release time frame or price for the drawer unit and 4 wheel dolly? These look very appealing to me! Thinking about the dolly, and 2 of the 3 drawer units, and make a flat work surface for the top. Ideally I could utilize it as a portable knife sharpening station/ other small project uses in my apartment. Limited on space, so that’s why I’m especially curious about the dimensions. Thank you!
Stuart
I’m sorry, I wasn’t provided with any updates. Last I heard was December.
Doug Moore
I have recently gotten one of the 3 pc sets and so far feel like it will do what I need but am really wanting the Brief case tool box and possibly a few of the clip on accessories. Does anyone know when these extra pieces will be available for purchase?
Z
When is the rest of the line (the 3 drawer, the dolly etc..) being released?
Stuart
There haven’t been any updates.
Gerald
When is the drawers and dolly and those other initial boxes and stuff coming out. I got the three box rolling tool box and folding cart. Looking to trick out my garage with hyper stack!
Stuart
Sorry, there haven’t been any updates.
Marc
Some of it is now available for shipping.
Josh
The new items are out. If you serach for it on Walmarts website it will pop up…
Matthew
Any updates on Hyper Stack?
Stuart
No. None of the line ever launched at the large Walmart store near me. The 3-drawer was added to the website but isn’t shipping yet.
TonyT
My local Walmart has had the 3 item stack for months, and has sold at least one (I saw some one buying one).
Heather
So I bought the 3 shelf collapsible utility cart…. I love it but cant find the little baskets for the attachments. Only thing I can find on walmart site is hooks. Any ideas?
Stuart
Might be launching later? I’ve been out of the loop and Walmart doesn’t have any contacts to ask.
Robert
Love the 3 box set especially at price point however, availability of the 3 drawer units is unavailable everywhere. Any clues when they will be available again?
Hansel
Do the drawers have a carry handle? I don’t see one.
Mark
I just picked it up today. No handle on top but cut outs on the side. The thing I don’t like about the cut outs is they do take up some storage space. Not a deal breaker type of space.
Mark R
Any word on the open tote or the Briefcase-style tool box?
I get nervous buying new things fearing that all the pieces won’t actually be released. Same with buying old things fearing they will discontinue pieces.
Champs
Packout user, and it is almost certainly overkill for me: Milwaukee’s doesn’t offer anything like this and the price would be eye popping even if it did, but I liked the 500 pound cart concept, so we took a shot.
The execution left plenty to be desired: finish and assembly are not great and the top was broken right out of the box. One replacement later, I want to kit the thing out, especially with something to bring a trash bag along.
If the build quality is representative of the toolboxes I think I will take a miss on them. They’d be fine on a workshop floor but would not survive too many trips up and down the stairs in my building.
