Deal: Keter Adjustable-Height Portable Folding Work Table

Keter Adjustable Height Folding Work Table

Keter’s adjustable-height folding work table has dropped in price on Amazon to $80. It’s normally priced at around $105 or so.

It looks like this is a new model that only came out a couple of months ago. This is not the same as Keter’s regular folding work table, which has fixed-height legs and is regularly priced at $79. So for about the same price as that model, you can get this one, which has adjustable legs.

Additionally, this model looks to have a more versatile clamping system, which would further justifies the price difference.

Right now Amazon’s showing that the work table is out of stock, but you can still order it at the sale price if you don’t mind waiting the estimated 5-8 weeks for delivery. In my experience, Amazon’s shipping estimates are worst-case scenarios, but sometimes they under-estimate how long it will take to get new stock in.

Buy Now(via Amazon)

Update: Home Depot’s price on this is $119.

This looks to be a decent deal, and I’m struggling to think of a good reason why I shouldn’t buy one for myself. I’m neutral about the adjustable legs, but the clamping system looks to be substantially better than on the non-adjustable Keter.

Stuart – this is typically on sale for way more than that at Costco/Sams… I think it is even on sale right now (or maybe it was old stock of an older version of the adjustable height) for $35-40. It is usually around $50-60 at walmart, sams, and costco

You mean the regular one? I don’t think I’ve seen this model before anywhere, let alone on sale.

Thanks! $60 is even better, but sadly there’s no Costco around here. =(

That link doesn’t seem to work.
Checking Costco website I find 7
results for Keter, none of them tables.

I bought one at my local Costco for $40. They sold out quickly. I remember seeing them last year as well. But the model they sell this year is is a little stripped down. It holds 700lbs as opposed to 1000. And the old one came with removable clamps, instead of hold downs. Still worth 40 bucks to me though.

Bought the old model at Walmart last year on black Friday for 39.00 dollars and I love it.

so, it must just be me, but shouldn’t a portable worktable have a slot down the middle for using with a jigsaw or circular saw?

I ordered this table on Amazon in early September (it was out of stock then, too). They cancelled my order a few weeks ago saying it was unavailable.

Yep, they do that sometimes. I ordered 2 more L-Boxxes on the last day of their 2012 Bosch discount deal, and they cancelled the order sometime in February or March. They picked up new stock a couple of weeks later.

With deals like this, I typically take the chance as there’s nothing to lose.
