Browsing Home Depot a few days ago I stumbled upon this deal. It’s a two pack of Klein’s 11-in-1 multi-bit screwdriver for $20.
For a long time, this was the go to multi-bit screwdriver for many professionals, but in recent years there have been a plethora of good competitors which are either cheaper or better made. Still, the Klein 11-in-1 is a solid EDC multi-bit screwdriver, and I reach for mine all the time.

Each driver features 11 functions:
- 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ nut drivers
- Phillips #1 and #2
- Slotted 1/4″ and 3/16″
- Torx T10 and T15
- Square #1 and #2
I found the screwdriver bundles in a standalone floor display at Home Depot, suggesting that it’s a special buy and might not be available after the batch sells out.
It’s available both in store and online, although strangely my local store seems to be the only one in the area that doesn’t have stock. You might want to check the website or call before you head out to purchase this deal.
Klein’s 11-in-1 multi-bit screwdriver is regularly $15, so getting 2 for $20 is a pretty good deal.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have a detached garage and it is kind of a pain to have to go out there for this type of stuff all the time. Just grab one and throw it in my junk drawer. Hell, I have a 12′ tape measure in the drunk drawer, might as well ad a screwdriver as well. I can then keep the 2nd one in my car tool bag.

Klein – having a Germanic name – is a US company that still makes tools in the US – but has started sourcing some from factories in Taiwan, China, Japan and Germany
Wera (truncated company name) of Wuppertal Germany – seems to produce most of its tools across the border in the Czech Republic
Wiha (Willi Hahn GmbH) – down the street (in Wuppertal) from Wera – has moves some of its pliers production to Vietnam, was producing tools in Geramany and sourcing some of their line from Switzerland and Taiwan
I like many of the tools from all three of these companies

Made in Germany, I know…love German made tools.. the key is not helping…China…Germany is not mass producing crap tools to flood the market with junk..or influencing American companies to produce cheap goods there …
Instead Germany makes some of the finest tools around ,most come at premium prices to match the quality….they take pride in their workmanship, not out for a quick buck using cheap labor……

Last year the Klein 5-in-1 in my roadie kit was replaced by a new “6-in-1 Extended” model – I needed a 1/4″ nutdriver and just stumbled across this new version. Not only does it have the driver, but the longer reach of the tool was perfect for my needs (though the one I have has two Phillips and two slotted, no square). Something to consider…

I have the Milwaukee version of this tool at a similar price. It is hands down one of the best tools I have purchased in the last decade. I feel as though it covers about 90% of the fasteners I run across. I am seriously considering having a holster made so I can have it my person throughout the work day. Plus I keep one in the junk drawer, the work shop, garage, truck and garden shed.

Looks like everybody here likes Milwaukee tools. Most of the tools are made in China. And lots of ppl here say don’t like china made tools ?
