Voltage tester and 9″ side-cutting pliers (NCVT-1, D213-9NE): $30
Seeing as how the pliers sell for $30 via Amazon (and higher elsewhere), it’s as if you’re buying the pliers and getting the non-contact voltage tester (~$17 via Amazon) for free.

Confined space electrical maintenance set (NCVT-3, 32594): $27
This set bumps up the voltage tester to the NCVT-3 model with LED flashlight ($27 via Amazon), and you also get the 32594 stubby screwdriver ($16 via Amazon).

400A AC auto-ranging digital clamp meter (CL330): $60 (matched at Amazon)
I’m not familiar with this model, but it seems like a good deal. There aren’t very many user reviews to learn more from.

AC/DC voltage and continuity tester (ET260): $20
I cannot find much about the ET260, but the similar ET250 ($38 via Amazon) seems to be fairly well regarded. The only difference I can tell is that the ET250 has one added feature – GFCI testing.

6pc bi-metal hole saw set (HSBundle1): $18
With this set, you get 6 hole saws, and that’s it – two each of 7/8″, 1-1/8″, and 1-3/8″ sizes.
You’ll need an arbor and pilot bit (such as this starter set).

That NCVT-3 model is super nice. I just picked one up a month ago or so. My last dual voltage tester got wet and died. It sure is nice that the NCVT-3 has a light on it.

What does the “bi-metal” thing have to do with the hole saws?

Bi-metal typically refers to the cutting edge being made from a harder and more wear-resistant high speed steel than the rest of the hole saw “cup.”
Basic hole saws are often made from carbon steel, including the cutting teeth, which translates to lower durability. Cutting into harder surfaces will accelerate the wear compared to a good bi-metal hole saw.

I picked up a the bi-metal hole saw kit since I go though them like they are beef jerky. My tubing notcher takes them without an arbor, and I can only get about 10 notches on 1.5″ and 1.25″ ERW tubing before the teeth are more suggestions than actual teeth.

And of course, after I ordered them, I figured out it has 3 sizes, 2 of each, for sizes I don’t need. 7/8 in., 1-1/8 in., and 1-3/8. Whoops.

Does anybody actually use NCV detectors? There must be a dozen around the shop and I don’t trust any of them.
