Over at Amazon, these Knipex electrician’s pliers has dropped in price to $20. It’s normally priced at ~$30-35. We don’t know how the pliers will be discounted for, so if this is something that’s been on your shopping list for a while, you might want to act fast.
Right now the pliers are backordered and usually ships within 3 to 5 weeks.

Update: Sears’ price is currently $16 with free in-store pickup.
These are smallish pliers, around 6-1/4″ in length, with long nose tips, hard and soft wire cutters, crimping holes, and wire stripping holes (10, 12, 14 AWG). These pliers are said to be great for gripping, bending, and working with wires.

I finally purchased a pair of these Knipex electrician’s pliers a few months ago, and they’ve proven to be as versatile as expected. I paid maybe $26-28 for them. At $20, I’m tempted to buy a second one.

If you miss this deal, check back every so often. These pliers were $20 last week, then $24, and now they’re back to $20. They will at some point pop back up to the regular street price of $30-40.

Wow, that’s even better, good catch! I generally much more prefer shopping at Amazon than Sears, but it’s hard to beat same-day gratification.

I didn’t know Sears carried Knipex . $20.00 is a great price , IIRC , I paid about $35 Canuck bucks for mine . I quite often EDC mine , they are very handy .

Thanks, Stuart and Tom. I just got these from Sears. Beautiful tool. They were 19.99, but I had a “Shop Your Way” $10 coupon off $25, so I got some jigsaw blades (Bosch) to even it out. The Bosch blades were cheaper than Amazon, too. Just in case anyone has the Sears “Shop Your Way” free membership. When I went into the store, their price was higher than the online price, but I showed them the online price and they gave me the lower one.

I’ve had a pair of these now for 25 years or so. They still work as well as they did new

lol, I swear my checking these everyday at Sears when they would jump between $20 & $25 triggered one of these price movements. Unfortunately got them for $20 from Sears but used some bonus points & coupon.

Only used them twice, but have been great so far. Not an expert/professional but work on a lot of electronics, and the quality seems like it’s there but only time will tell.
Would have preferred to get them @ Amazon, as 2 out of 4 recent tools purchased from Sears online were used (including the Channellock 13-1 Ratcheting Screwdriver reviewed here, which is missing the nut driver) and returning them in-store was the biggest PITA as I lost all bonus points (and they took the same amount of points away making my balance -27000 ) trying to get a refund when they didn’t have item in stock, and to return online they want me to buy the item again on top of the original purchase out of my own pocket w/o free shipping (even tho I have free trial of MAX), then send the used item back to them while paying for shipping and hope that once they receive it, they will process a refund + shipping. Ridiculous…
Note: Sometimes when the price @ Sears would jump up to $25, after refreshing a few times it would drop back down to $20 again.
