KC Tool Free Folding Knife Deal 2025

KC Tool has a pretty good deal going on right now – spend $100 in Knipex tools, and you get a free folding knife.

That seems like a great deal if you were planning on buying some new Knipex tools.

Update 3/5: it looks like the deals ended.

KC Tool Free Folding Knife and Cutix Deal 2025

Or, if you’re spending $200 or more, you get a free folding knife plus a Knipex CutiX utility knife.

It looks like KC Tool is selling the same Knipex knife for just under $30, and the CutiX for around $33.

KC Tool tends to have decent Knipex pricing – and great customer service – but you can sometimes find Knipex tools for a little less elsewhere.

However, after what happened last year – see Amazon Sent me Used and Broken Knipex Pliers – I’ve been making it a point to stick with smaller dealers like KC Tool unless there’s a substantial price difference.

I can’t find any mention about when the deal will end, and so it’s presumably while supplies last.

It’s a nice knife. It will slice paper and shave the hair from your arm. German blade and German handle.

$30 is crazy, though. $19.99 right now on Amazon, which is a decent deal. Got mine from KCTool on a 2023 Dark Grey Friday deal for $12.99. Thanks for that heads up, Stuart!

All that said, if there’s a $100 Knipex deal to anyone’s liking, this is a sweet free knife.

I bought the folding one last year from KCT, or ,aybe it was free as above. I agree with Don. It is sharp. But the blade is super stiff to unfold. I kinda feel its dangerous but once you get it open it cuts but the blade is square…Also it is heavy.

It’s interesting to see that blade shape in a slipjoint without any other tools. My Victorinox Alox Electrician and Mirkov electrician-pattern knife (model NH-4 I think) both have something similar – and it’s handy.

That cutout near the tip might give you a place to safely pinch the blade for precise tip work too.

I think that price is pretty high for what you’re getting though, assuming $30 is genuine retail. Especially when Knipex only tells you the blade is “stainless steel”, not what type.

Probably german stainless steel which is used in medical grade tools and are basically throw away after use. For $30 id expect at least D2 in a slip joint knife like that and more like $15-20. The cutix at $33 is just crazy unless it comes with alot ofnextra blades. Either way they’re good for use on jobsites and its no big deal if yoy lose it. I personally prefer a flipper style with some kind of locking mechanism and slip joints usually use the back lock, but a knife that small may not even have a lock. Knipex makes great pliers but knives are best left to spyderco or if German I suppose a Boker will do.
