Kobalt Double Drive Screwdriver with Bonus Holster

We just found out that there will be a bonus holster included in a special edition Kobalt Double Drive screwdriver set! You won’t see the holster in our Kobalt Double Drive preview or video review because the screwdriver we reviewed did not come with one.

Click Here to Search for the Kobalt Double Drive on Amazon!

A few readers have reported difficulty finding the driver in-stores but said they were able to buy one off of Amazon. Also check Lowe’s purchase links below!

(Note: In addition to the Double Drive, are you wondering what the guys in your life REALLY want for the holidays? Check out this most-wished-for tools list! There are some killer deals on this bestsellers list as well!)

From what we can tell, the with-holster set is an online-only exclusive with only a limited quantity available. Once supplies run out, the regular set without holster will probably still be available for purchase online and in stores.

Lowes is not selling the Kobalt Double Drive screwdriver sets in stores yet, but we expect to see them there very soon.

Order now via LowesUpdate: the items are now in-stock and shipping! The regular Double Drive set is also available for purchase online and is eligible for free in-store pickup.

The one you are showing on TV the douple drive with the Holster, is not in any lowes stores at this time. I have been to a lot of them 7. in the LA area. what gives If you run the advert then have the goods. there for sale. get with it.

@Robert – this site is not run by Lowe’s.

The ones with the holsters were never sold in stores, as Stuart mentioned above. They were a limited online-only edition. You can keep checking Lowes.com (via the “buy now” button at the bottom of the article), but it’s not guaranteed that they’ll be back in stock.

Robert, go back up and read the 3rd paragraph. Please take note of the following keywords: online-only, limited quantities. It looks like the holster version sold-out, but maybe not. Your best bet is to pick up the regular version that’s available in-store or online.

Update: They’re back in stock, but due to the immense demand for this model, supplies will surely run out quickly.

Holster or no holster, you cannot get it anywhere except ebay where people are selling them at huge profits.

Check the links above – both the regular and special holster edition are still in stock at Lowes.com . My local Lowe’s still has many of these in the display. $20 + shipping.

I feel bad for the company that does not understand supply & demand and thinks the economy is bad so limit supply of a product in big demand. Shame the holster is not available in stores.

From what I can tell, they had reasonable success with a similar arrangement last year. They offered the Multi-Drive Wrench in-store, and added a special extra bit assortment for phone or internet orders.

Even so, the holster version is still available online, so what’s the problem?

The screwdriver is great. The free holster – well you’d think the pouch would fit the bit kit but it doesn’t unless you take them out of the plastic container they’re in but then they become an assorted mees in the pouch. a little thought would have gone a long way, I’d say.

Is there anyplace where you can buy the Kobalt multi-drive wrench? I can’t find it anywhere at Lowe’s. Lowe’s says that they are not selling it now.
    Thanks
