In the ToolGuyd Forum, reader Fred posted about one hell of a deal for the Kreg 3″ Automaxx Bench Klamps. Over at Peachtree Woodworking Supply, if you buy one at the regular price of $37.99, you’ll get a second one free.
Taking a look around the internet, nobody is selling this specific clamp for less that $36. Plus I haven’t seen these Automaxx Klamps sold at any sort of significant discount, so $38 for two is a great deal.

The coupon code is CLMP27, but before you run off and try to use it to get the free AutoMaxx Klamp, follow the instructions below, because the method for redeeming the code is a bit strange.
The CLMP27 code is also good for 20% off Kreg Automax accessories like the clamping plate, the 10″ square bench plate, Klamp block sets, Universal Track Clamp kits, and the drill press adapter for the Bench Klamps.
Accessing the Deal
In order to take advantage of this deal you have to go to a specific page. Here’s a link to make it easy.
You add one of the clamps cart and you’ll see this in your basket:

Then you enter the code CLMP27 and click Submit. After the code is applied you’ll see this:

When I checked out, I found that the cheapest shipping method was $9.
I can find no set date for this promotion to end, instead Peachtree just says: “Act fast, quantities are limited.”

Thanks for the heads up! Does anyone know if they work with any standard T track?
Stuart
It’s really more designed to fit Kreg Klamp Trak or their bench plates. It *might* be compatible with some other T-tracks, but I don’t know any more about that than you do.
Chad
Mine has a screw in the base with engages the bench plate. All you would have to do is buy a similar screw and possibly file or grind it down to fit the track you have (if the stock bolt head does not already fit)

I don’t recommend these for any kind of aluminum track. There is too much throw to get a tight clamp, resulting in a flexed and/or bent track. Nothing against them— they are just meant for steel plate and a very tight clamp. There are similar clamps that fall on the other end of this, with a light touch, but a less secure squeeze.
