Lowes’ Black Friday 2016 tool deals have been made public, now that their adscan has been leaked online. Thank you Robbie for the heads-up!

I’ve already raided their in-store tool deals center, and bought a couple more things earlier this week.

There are some decent tool deals at Lowes this year, such as on the new Kobalt laser distance measurer, the Dewalt table saw with rolling stand, and some of the Dewalt cordless kits look good.

Update: The DWE7491RS table saw will be on sale for $499. It’s currently $549 at Lowes and elsewhere, $529 at Amazon, $579 at some dealers still.

I wish there was more emphasis on Hitachi tools. It wasn’t that long ago that the two brands jointly announced their new partnership. Looking at the Hitachi presence at Lowes today, I ask this – what partnership?

Do you want to see more deals? Scroll to the top of the page for some links, or check out our Tool Deals Section.

They say the deals go live on Lowes.com Thanksgiving day, 11/24/16, and will be valid thru 12/3. In the past, we’ve seen Lowes’ deals go live as early as Wednesday night. Thanksgiving Eve?

The PC 12pc 3.0A OMT is a pretty good deal at $50, I really like the depth control gauge its almost as nice as its big brother– DeWalt the comes with a VST. I just ordered the the PORTER-CABLE PCE605K52 3-Amp Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit with 52 Accessories last Tuesday on Amazon for $79.99.

I will say after using a variety of cheap 2.0A OMT you can feel the heft and the quality. Have always wanted a OMT with the depth control gauge and tool less blade change, it just doesn’t get regular enough use to justify the price for the DeWalt 20V bare tool or corded tool and I’ve never seen a good enough deal until last week to upgrade to the PC kit.

But this kit at $50 is still a great deal.

Mulling picking up the Kobalt portable table saw w/stand, want to see how much space it takes up when stored.

Been waiting to see Lowe’s BF deals, Ive had the HD BF Deals for almost a week, this was the last BF AD I’ve been waiting to drop.

Just pulled the trigger on the Amazon 5.0A deal with two free bare tools @ $299.99, I kind of wish you had an option for instant emails for your new post’s esp for during Holiday deals like that, I get the daily and weekly updates and instant email update option would be sweet, I would have jumped on it right off the bat had I seen it, I almost missed it because it was posted after the daily email.

    Thanks Stuart!

Posts that go out after the daily email get emailed out the next day. Nothing ever gets skipped.

It’s less than ideal when a deal of the day is posted a little late, but there’s not much more I can do in the way of automatic emails.

I also auto-post to Facebook and Twitter, and there’s also the RSS feed. Maybe there’s some kind of 3rd party alert system?

That PC deal was decent, and I regret that I couldn’t post about it in time. It’s tool-free, unless you want to use non-Dewalt or Rockwell accessories. (Unless something changed and I’m mistaken.)

Posting from Lowe’s waiting to pickup a new dishwasher.

I checked out the BF PC kit it doesn’t appear to come with the depth gauge.

Rarely on FB, I understand about the automatic email system, wasnt sure if your website offered an option, I know some website use Twitter to cross post new threads in real time.

So long as there’s an RSS feed, folks should be able to configure RSS agents on their side for on-the-fly alerts. I do that for some other sites (and especially for Craigslist) when I have a particular set of items on my radar.

You can get SMS messages when a Twitter account tweets, even without a Twitter account:

@Stuart, I agree hence my original query, but a notification for every post is a small Inconvenience during my slow season, but for BF and Amazon one day/gold box deals it can be worth it. Yet during my peak work can’t afford to shop when I’m racking up billable hours.

@Jimmy I get instant emails for CL items on my radar (small delay) but I like the rss feed idea, is it in real time ?

I’ve scored some awesome deals off CL by having instant emails for items on my watchlist, and then being first contact.

ToolGuyd’s feed updates in real-time, or close to it, so the timing comes down to the service that sends alerts.

            https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/feed%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

I took down the feed URL recently, but never the feed itself, because most RSS clients grab the feed from the main site if you just enter toolguyd.com.

I wasn’t trying to discourage you from signing up for Twitter SMS updates, I was just putting a blanket warning out there. =)

It was, but was taken down. Though once it hits the internet, it really never not exists anymore.

Pretty similar to years past, so I skipped grabbing the images. I do need something to read on Thanksgiving!

The other one was from Fatwallet, I got it last Sunday night, it only lasted about 12-18 hours before it was taken down I snagged screenshots then for things was comparing, Business has been great this year, so I’m investing significantly to upgrade/replace tools for my business. So trying to save as much as I can, and give back the least to Uncle Sam.

CORRECTION: THAT IS 2015 ad, I usally ignore the front page and non-tool pages, I double checked the link and overlooked “Ad below is from 2015”.

          Sorry about that.

The Kobalt table saw was a good buy for me. It also allows dado stack. The main negative for me is that I cannot use the thin kerf blades on this saw. The splitter thicker than the thin kerf blades and as a result the stock gets stuck during the cut which can lead to an unsafe situation. I am now forced to use regular kerf blades.

Otherwise, I like the saw but will soon upgrade to a better miter gauge.

@PS Thanks I’m going to pick one up, I like the built in support for plywood sheets, a very knowledgeable employee show me all that it had to offer and that they tried to take as many of the best feature (within reason obv not the rack and pinon of DeWalt) but all in all I was truly impressed. I’ll toss my Skil BF table saw and stand up on CL with a NIB blade I think I paid $59 for it in 2010-11 BF so might even get close to what I paid for it on CL.

Reading the reviews an upgraded miter gauge is a recommended upgrade- I think that the Incra MITERV27 Miter V27 Miter Gauge was mentioned, plus side is that I can keep it if/when I upgrade the kobalt, Im thinking maybe the Skil worm gear down the road.

Just curious, I was at home depot and they already have displays of Dewalts new Flexvolt tools. Why doesn’t Lowes have these yet? I’d be kicking myself if Dewalts new Flexvolt table saw was dual battery/120 volt. Maybe 3 months ago I bought Dewalts DW745. Seeing the Flexvolt stuff in person was impressive.

A reader once mentioned in a comment that HD has an exclusivity arrangement with Dewalt for a few months after the initial launch. We’ll see if there’s truth to this by early 2017.

      Done!

It’s the DWE7491RS. LINK. Its price hasn’t dropped to BF sale pricing yet.

I will try to add more links in before Thanksgiving, but the priority right now is to catch up on the other deal posts and roundups on my to-do list.

Bosch’s withdrawal is an interesting strategy . . . Very dissapointing. There are some clearance/markdown deals in stores but this may be the year to jump to Milwaukee or DeWalt.
If you happen to have contacts at Bosch, it would make for a good article. Why aren’t they competing, especially in regards to Coordless Tool selection?
    Thanks

I wouldn’t say they withdrew. They’re so far behind Dewalt and Milwaukee that they can’t even compete on that level. I don’t know how their sales compare to Makita, but I do know that Makita has a strong relationship with Home Depot.

Noah, not sure if you are looking for a corded or cordless Bosch Jigsaw, but there are deals out there currently. Acme has the Bosch $25 off of $100 deal going currently with the Bosch 260 Jigsaw priced at $79.99, the Bosch 365 Jigsaw priced at $99.99, the Bosch 470 top handle and barrel grip Jigsaw priced at $159.99, and the Bosch 572 top handle and barrel grip Jigsaw priced at $250.00 & $265.00. I believe the $25.00 comes off of these prices aslong as the total is over $100.00, with the lower priced models I would throw some blades in there to put the total over $100.00. They also have the Bosch Cordless model for $189.99, but I believe this price to be high and I think you can get it cheaper elsewhere + the $25.00 off. Eric Savelles Tools Plus has it for $169.00 with a LBOXX + the $25.00 off. CPO has it for $149.00 + $25.00 off, but no LBOXX.

      Hope this helps. Taylor

Is that a good price for the gladiator wall storage? I think Sears will have the 30x30x12 for $99. Is the two inches worth the $20 or are these the same things?
