their pre black Friday ad looks better than the actual black Friday ad.

might have to pick up the Hitachi 18v drill and battery light combo — 69 bucks for 2 batteries — i already have the drill ( i know i know its nicad and not litho) but at least i would have a back up.
heck its only 10 bucks more for the whole kit over the 59 bucks for just one battery

No sure what their difference is in the metal technology but in the brips I can see they are different.
My gut guess is that that’s the only difference. Kind of confusing in the length of the latter VS the former. e.g. my linesman pliers are 8-1/2′ and the ones in the ad say they are 8”….
Not sure but they seem like a good deal for house hold or garage or as gifts for the ladies with skills.
One thing though that I found, the long nose, diagonal, and linesman pliers where hard to open fresh from the package. I had to open and close them each several times to loosen them up and now they open and close very smooth.

I think only the grips are different, but it’s possibly Lowes went with a different supplier and that the tools are a little different in other ways.
With Linemans pliers and certain other tools, brands sometimes round the lengths up or down.
It’s normal for some pliers to be a little stiff at first. When the joints start moving and oil starts flowing they should open up. Some remain a little stuff, like my Klein’s.
