Milwaukee Tool Deals of the Day 9-26-2019 Page 1

Home Depot kicked off this fine fall morning with a selection of tools deals, mainly Milwaukee cordless power tool bundles and select hand tools.

Subscribe to our newsletter and never miss another deal post.

As usual, some of the deals look to be quite good, at least if they line up with what you’ve been looking to buy. There are a couple of impulse-buy tools as well, such as the M12 cordless screwdriver bundle.

  • Milwaukee 15pc metric ratcheting wrench set: $175
  • Milwaukee Torque Lock 10pc locking pliers set: $89
  • Milwaukee 1/2″ SAE and 1/4″ metric impact deep socket sets: $75

  • Dewalt 25′ tape measure 2-pack: $20
  • Milwaukee Stud 25′ tape measure 2-pack: $25

It might make sense to some people, but I’m not quite sure why a 1/2″ drive SAE impact socket set is paired with a 1/4″ drive metric socket set…

I bought the same cordless screwdriver last year as part of a winter holiday promo. Even with cordless drills, and impact drivers, a cordless screwdriver – especially 12V-class-sized – can come in handy for repeatable driving of smaller fasteners. It’s quicker to use with 1/4″ accessories than a cordless drill, especially if you go back and forth between drill and screwdriver bits, and the adjustable clutch allows for more depth controls than even multi-speed impact drivers.

Found the cordless screwdriver to be great when putting together ikea furniture and such. Easy to control at low speeds and not overtighten

    Stuart.

Where’s the m12 Cordless Screwdriver you’re writing about?
It’s not on any of the links I can see here.

    Thanks.

Stuart. I never occurred to me that it was in the “standard” pistol grip form factor.
    Criminy.

    You really like it?!

    Hmmm.

For the money? Yes. But to be frank I don’t feel very strongly about it.

If open to other brands, there are other fine choices out there. I’m also fond of Dewalt Xtreme 12V and Bosch brushless 12V screwdrivers.

If you’re on the fence, wait two months for the winter holiday deals.

I probably won’t be able to answer specific questions before the promo ends in a few hours, but I can almost certainly answer them before Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Winter Holiday deals arrive.

I recommend the skil screwdriver. 4v, I think. Integrated battery uses a micro USB to charge. It doesn’t have tons of torque, but the gears do lock so you can use it like a hand driver for stuck screws. Has LEDs to light the work area. Also has a non contact voltage detector built in. It doesn’t replace your 18v (or whatever) drill/driver, but for smaller jobs it’s AWESOME.

I can’t even get these to come up on my iPad. Home Depots website is the only website I’ve ever been on that doesn’t work worth a hoot. All I get is a page with oops on it, with a hole in sheet rock instead of tools;( never have this trouble on Amazon or lowes.

It opens correctly on this iPhone. And while it isn’t especially elegant my shopping cart works and the shopping lists hold.
We have a HD Commercial Account but that shouldn’t make their App work better or worse should it?
