Over at Home Depot, they have 3 very HOT DEALS going on today, on special M12 cordless power tool combo kits. These kits don’t look to have existed before today, and we might not see them again. They look to be special combos meant for today’s deal of the deal.
Update: These deals expired, but there are plenty more. Check out:

Each combo is priced at $99, and each combo has different tools. So if you buy more than one of the combos, there won’t be much overlap in the tools. You might, for example, want the impact wrench combo, as well as the one with an impact driver and ratchet.
In the title, I describe these as Better than Black Friday deals, and I truly feel that way. As a reminder, there will also be an M12 drill and impact driver combo kit on sale for $99, as part of Home Depot’s Black Friday 2017 tool deals.
The first combo, above, features an M12 drill/driver, oscillating multi-tool, and (2) compact battery packs.
This next one features a 3/8″ impact wrench, and Milwaukee’s new metric ratchet and socket, which retails for $70 by itself. This kit only comes with (1) M12 battery pack, but that’s easily forgiven, given the value of what you get.

This last combo comes with an M12 impact driver, a 3/8″ ratchet, and (1) M12 battery pack. The ratchet, 2457-20, is typically a $99 bare tool.

Each of the kits also comes with an M12 charger, of course, and an appropriately sized tool bag.
Deals end at 4am 11/17/2017, unless supplies sell out sooner.
When checking the price of the bare tools ratchet, I came across this Milwaukee M12 Fuel Hackzall and 3/8″ ratchet promo set, priced at $169,
This isn’t part of the “deal of the day,” but seemed to be worth a mention.
Interested in the saw, but not the ratchet? There are a bunch of other bonus tool options that look quite good. Some of the bonus tool choices include a jig saw, tubbing cutter, or Bluetooth speaker.

The impact/ratchet combo is way too good of a deal to pass up for me! I don’t need the drill from the combo but would love a small impact for around the house!
Nate
Sure wish they would bundle the fuel saw with the right angle impact.

Just bought the impact ratchet combo!… I was planning to buy the ratchet alone for $90..darn great deal!

With the hackzall deal, my in-store sign has the new M12 stapler listed as a free tool option. So if you already have too much M12 like me but still need the fuel hackzall, it might be worth waiting for your store to get the staplers. My in-store sign says the free tool with the fuel hackzall (same deal also available for the fuel combo kit) goes through late January, so still time on that deal.
Nate
Might wait for that as I want the stapler.

For the plumber’s among us – Toolup has some deals on Milwaukee bundles like this one:
http://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-2432-22XC-M12-ProPEX-Expansion-Tool-Kit-with-2-XC-Batteries
I linked to this because the other Force Logic tool kit deals are quite a bit more expensive – and possibly less attractive to general audiences
Toolup – also has a “deal center” that you can click on to see some other Milwaukee bundles. I’m not sure if any of these deals are anything special.
PatrickD
Home Depot has that for 2 bucks less, but you can also buy it while they are price matching Menards.

See my reply below – put it in the wrong spot.

This impact/ratchet combo is a great deal! Tried to get it but keep getting an error that my card information can not be verified ..hmm. Tried another card, same issue. Called my friend to buy me this set and he got the same error. Crazy.
fred
I see it even cheaper here:

I wonder if the add-on tools via a redemption certificate that Tool-Up is featuring also applies to purchases elsewhere

Wouldn’t it make more sense to include some impact rated sockets with the impact wrench? I know they aren’t responsible for what the end user does, but sort of setting someone up for trouble
Doresoom
I don’t think Milwaukee makes impact rated sockets (yet). I’ll also bet that the M12 impact wrench doesn’t produce so much torque that it’s going to be a big issue – although I agree it’s always best to use impact rated sockets with an impact wrench.
Stuart
They do.
Hold on, I’ll get a post up.
Doresoom
Oh wow I stand corrected, apparently they’ve had them out for quite a while. I guess I was getting them confused with Milwaukee’s recent release of the 12 piece drive sets this summer, and thought that was the company’s debut into sockets.
Stuart
Post is scheduled to go up shortly.
No, it’s not just you. They’ve had them out for a while, but they’re not exactly emphasized or highlighted all that often.
Adam
I only noticed them when Milwaukee (or HomeDepot) bundled them with an impact wrench a while back. They don’t seem to feature them all that well.
On that note, I think Milwaukee is terrible advertising some of their products. I only found out months later about the rubber boots they sell for their M18 impact wrenches. Why not advertise that on the box the impact came in? Working retail, it was always the accessories that had a higher profit margin.
I really don’t need another pamphlet showing me all your tools, give me one with all the accessories that I DON’T know about.
Justin
My Home Depot had a sign for free tool with purchase of the fuel M12 hackzall up to $99. I used it to replace my well-used hackzall and get a free jigsaw ($99 bare too) to maximize the freebie.
JC
Just picked up the drill/multitool set, already had an impact driver set and was looking for something to add to the home collection. Should be excellent for woodworking.
Justin
You’ll be happy with the multitool, its a great little tool to have cordless. I leave mine with the sander end on it, its really nice to have a small cordless sander handy.

That drill is crap. I bought this combo last year and fell in love with it. Then about 2-3 months later the drill developed a bunch of slack in the gearbox. A 6 inch long bit has about 1/2 inch of runout at the tip. The fuel brushless tools are the real deal but the brushed ones are just throwaways.
Rolf
WOW – what a great deal. I almost paid a lot more than $99 for just the 3/8 impact wrench the other day, and held off. Glad I did!
Mahalo
back up to $189!
Stuart
Sorry. These were a one-day deal ending yesterday.
