Hot Deal: Milwaukee M12 Drill + Bluetooth Speaker Bonus Kit for $89

Milwaukee 2407-22B M12 Drill and Bluetooth Speaker Deal

I’ve posted about Milwaukee’s M12 drill/driver, model 2407, numerous times, because it’s a good drill at a good price. When the kit goes on sale for $99, it’s a good drill at a fantastic price.

Now, over at Home Depot, you can buy a special Milwaukee M12 drill/driver and Bluetooth speaker kit, for just $89. You get the drill, the Bluetooth speaker, a carrying case, a charger, and (2) M12 Li-ion batteries.

This drill is a “best 12V value” runner up in our Best Cordless Drills guide!

I’m struggling to find a downside to this special bundle. The Bluetooth speaker is quite good, and one that I’ve been using more and more due to its simplicity, small size, and decent sound quality.

This is one of the better priced M12 kits I’ve ever seen, and makes for inexpensive entry into the M12 lineup.

Buy Now(via Home Depot)

Deal is online only, with free shipping and in-store pickup options. There’s no clear expiration date, and so the price might change at any time.

There was a similar deal back in June, and I thought it was a good bargain when priced at $129. Now, at $89, it’s incredibly priced, and presumably in short supply. My guess is that Home Depot is starting to clear warehouse shelves to make room for the 2015 winter holiday season offerings.

Isn’t the radio normally 60$ by its self? That’s a steal

This is a seriously good deal. I may pick one up just for the batteries, since there are a couple of bare-tool M12 things I’m interested in.

I might buy it for the batteries and radio and sell the drill. Do you know if they are 1.5 or 2.0 i’m going to assume 1.5 for that price.

I would make the same assumption. The description doesn’t mention the battery capacity of model number, only that it comes with two of them.

    All:

I saw this kit in my local HD (DC area)this weekend. So if interested, you may want to stop in your local HD. There was another kit for slightly more $ that included a radio. Both were featured items, right next to the Dewalt stuff that is also on sale right now, The two kits definitely caught my eye, as I know I am eventually going to have to replace my Nextec 12v stuff when the batteries die off. If I bought the Milwaukee stuff now, I would have to add the cost of getting a divorce, since I just replaced my Firestorm tools with Ryobi’s 18V stuff. I bought their $40 radio/BT speaker, (and like it) so I really didn’t need the BT speaker or radio.

I bought this drill a few weeks ago when they had the Get Free Stuff deal. I couldn’t think of any uses for the tools that were free so I just got the XC battery which I thought was a pretty good deal for $129. So far I have loved the drill for doing household projects and assembling some pocket hole furniture. I’m planning on getting more tools in the m12 line in the future like the circular saw for building things around the house.

I apologize in advance if this has already been asked recently but do we have any idea when/if the Milwaukee cordless miter saw will be available in the U.S.?

      Nope.

If it was slated for release in the next 6 months, it would have been previewed at their media event in June.

At the event they teased about a miter saw that they’re working on, but didn’t specify if it was corded or cordless.

    Hello first post for me…

I think Milwaukee tools are extremely under-rated. Their breakers are basically Kangos but for much cheaper. They’re awesome. However, radios are a difficult area. It’s all about the sound quality and reception. I remember seeing the Hitachi UR18DSL, Makita DMR106, Bosch GML20 and Dewalt DCR019 radios side by side and trying them for comparison, with the Makita winning hands down for sound quality, notable the bass and treble; the other three products were good but you couldn’t tell how good until compared with each other.

Assuming you’ve heard any of the other radios? How does this one compare with the others?

It’s too bad I already have 10 batteries (9 working, 1 dead – not bad!), 2 drills, and 2 impacts, or I’d pick this up in a heartbeat. I’ve already wanted the bluetooth speaker.

Last weekend at Home Depot, I also saw the older M12 radio marked down to about $55. I can’t remember the exact price. It seemed to be a little bigger than what I wanted, so I’d probably prefer the speaker. I have the Ridgid 18V “mini” radio, and I use it ALL THE TIME.

One decision I’m really glad Milwaukee made is to include an 1/8″ input port on the speaker, so users don’t have to use bluetooth. I’ve never really gotten used to using bluetooth. Even though it is rather simple, so is plugging in a cord… Regardless, options are a good thing.

The only other M12 item that is really high on my list is the vacuum. I’ve told myself absolutely no more cordless tools until I sell my Makita 18V set. They are practically brand new, but redundant, especially for a casual user like me. I have several Ridgid 18V tools and many M12 tools. For what I do, the M12 set alone would be more than enough, but I do like keeping it around for the cordless Jobmax (have lots of heads and a corded one, as well.) If I’d known what I know now, I would have skipped Makita 18V altogether. They’re great tools, but not overkill for me.

I maintain and repair automated production equipment (think desktop computer and robotic arm all in one) as well as the rest of the building (which includes production, assembly, shipping, and a whole floor of cubicles and offices for admin staff, sales, etc). I currently use my personal Ryobi 18v lithium ion kit that was around $200. The Milwaukee M12 Fuel line has very similar power and would be much better suited for the smaller tasks here.

WHEN WILL THE M12 FUEL LINE COME OUT IN A COMBO KIT?

I priced up the 18v kits and the non fuel m12 kits but at the end of the day I want work to purchase milwaukee, and the m12 fuel line fits our needs PERFECTLY. The price for the line is just insanity. IIRC my research came down to a scenario that was basically Drill, Driver, Sawzall, Light, rip saw plus batteries in 18v for $1,000 or so. Or in M12 Fuel for $800.

I have been waiting patiently for months now keeping up with this site and the coptools site and have yet to get any indication that an M12 Fuel combo kits was coming out any time soon. Further more, it unfortunately looks like the M12 Fuel line is not near as well supported as the 18v line.

Please give me an update on the m12 fuel line.

    How very providential.

I just recieved as a birthday gift from my wife the Milwaukee M12 Cordless Heated 3-in-1 Jacket. It came with a a battery and charger but I knew I’d need more than one battery. I’m already heavily invested in DeWalt 18v. tools and was reluctant to embrace another system. But I was also considering buying the Milwaukee bluetooth speaker. This deal is practically made to order.

    Thanks for the heads up.
