I will use this set to work on my teams battlebot. I have plenty of m12 and would love more. I find that the form factor is the best for 90 percent of what I do. More power than my old porter cable 18volt stuff by far. Please send it to me so I may attain robotic world domination on basic cable tv.

My son in law gave me a skill saw that needs a 12ah battery and I’ll be cutting pallets again, I use the 18v impact he gave me for work. I’ve used his 12v before and really like it, but he is stingy with it.. 😂

I help out with Handyman repairs in my community and for charities, repairing Toilets, installing handrails for the elderly and those in need, etc.

I would use the M12’s lighter tools to help with these charities as my budget isn’t the biggest and my shoulder is starting to feel the other heavy nicad tools that are starting to get too old.

I have been a Milwaukee fan for a couple of years now and have only carried m18. Gave my Father my newest set as his old Milwaukee set was pretty outdated with the old battery. I only have 3 tools that are m12 and thats a radio, a rocket light and a jacket. But at work i was provided with an m12 impact and it has become my best friend. Its the last gen but has been my favorite power tool and love the power. Would love to have one for the work i do around my house.

I’ve just started to invest in the M12 line. I’m a mid-level DIYer at best. I want to convert over my old 12V Bosch tools to Milwaukee. I borrowed a friend’s M12 impact driver and I was simply wowed by the power. I have a deck project that I am hoping to use these tools for. I am replacing a 12×14 deck with treated boards to composite decking with hidden fasteners. I’d be very grateful to start my M12 tool line investment with a this really generous giveaway. Thanks for the consideration.

I’d like to win it to round out my toolbox for work. As a hydrogeologist I have to be prepared to occasionally perform minor maintenance/repairs or do some electrical work. I currently have a secondhand drill (Hart?) in my tool box. These would be smaller and way more powerful. Good for drilling holes in PVC or steel pipes, boxes, or unscrewing well vaults quickly.

I’d definitely make good use of these. Have had M12 tools for a good many years… and the M12 drill is the one that gets the most frequent use for around-the-house type chores, etc. So much so, in fact, that my 1st generation pre-red / pre-brushless / pre-fuel model finally died on me (my first Milwaukee ever to do so), though I don’t blame it at all; it served well over it’s long life. So a replacement for it’s predecessor would be great! Now, the impact, I’ve never owned an M12 Impact (though I have the M18); would be nice to give that a try, also!

A couple years ago, Stuart sent me some wonderful m12 tools to either keep or give away to local aviation maintenance students. I kept two lights and a ratchet, and gave the others away. I use the M12 lantern in my unfinished basement daily. The ratchet has served me through three alternator changes. I didn’t think I would like it, but then it allowed me to do something deep in an engine bay with two hands that would have ordinarily taken three.

With this kit, I would probably keep the drill, and give away the impact driver, simply because I have an M18 Surge that I really, really like.

A 12V fan (Bosch) because I’ve found 12V is powerful enough for almost all of my uses, but a lot lighter and easier to maneuver than 18V. I’m not a M12 user yet, although I’ve considered M12 because of the wide variety of tools and because my very useful M18 drain auger kit came with a M12/M18 charger.

If I won, I’d keep the Bosch at work, and use the Milwaukee around the home for general home owner tasks, like building and repairing furniture.

I would absolutely love this! I think there are a number of M12 tools that I’d get use out of but have put off since I’m not invested in the platform and don’t really have the budget to start over. Our house is cinder block, so the hammer drill would really come in handy for various projects. The 12v Impact would probably replace my aging 18v Bosch which is overkill (and extremely loud) for most of the projects I take on. I have a couple of woodworking projects lined up and it would be awesome to have some new tools to put to use.

I am a big fan of the Milwaukee M12 Fuel platform and use them daily for work as a maintenance technician for low income housing. They are powerful enough to do 95% of my daily work for everything from plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, carpentry, rough-in, drywalling, the list goes on. I like the size to power ratio of the M12 tools and believe the extra power in this combo would finally put an end to using my larger and heavier 18v Makita impact driver and hammer drill. I own a lot of M12 Fuel and M12 products including.

Cool, the new generation! Truth be told I don’t *need* either of these, but don’t currently have a 12V driver, and my Gen 2 of that drill gets stupid sometimes. Sometime in the clutch locks up and I need to force it open with a big pair of pliers – and then it works fine for a while until it happens again.

I like the thought from the guy above about keeping in his RV, may be what happens for me if I end up winning. I would probably keep them separate from the garage tools.

Lots of power, long battery life, and it just feels good in your hand. I would like to get a set too, but it is something i will have to save up for. They ttold me too watch for deals and discounts though, so i set an alert for ‘millwuake fuel’ on my phone, and one of the first articles that cane up was the toolguyd.com
Im not a fuel m12 or otherwise user (yet) but I plan to be. If I did luck out with this deal id probably still buy a second impact driver at least to keep at home, probably a hammer drill and saber saw too. Thanks for the articles, I enjoy reading them.

I do not own any M12 tools currently, but I would use the heck out of them for doing cabinet and door hardware installation. They would also be super handy for keeping around the work bench for assembly and repair tasks. My current cordless line up is all yellow, but I could see going red for the 12v line.

I own tools in all colors and voltages but my M12’s are my daily drivers as a maintenance tech. None more so then my Gen 2 M12 hammer drill which I have abused lovingly over the years… which is why it’s on its way to needing to be replaced.

The Gen 3 seems like just a straight forward upgrade and would find itself in my work tool bag day one, while my old one would move onto a nice quiet retirement gig back home enjoying its well earned break from daily abuse.

This is a really good set for use in apartment complex maintenance. 18V sized tools are usually too powerful for the needs to it’s best to go with the lighter 12V stuff. Honestly I would probably gift this away to one of my coworkers who is just starting out.

Not a current M12 user, I’m still living in the stone age with a 15+ year old Craftsman Ni-cad drill/driver. I’ve been wanting to upgrade for quite some time but have been on the fence about which battery platform would suit me best. I would use the combo for household repairs and hopefully be a gateway to get me into more of the m12 line of tools.

Got some duct repairs to do in the attic when this heat wave is over. And more electrical to run underneath the house.

It seems crawlspaces keep getting smaller as I get older. There’s only 15-18″ of clearance is a chore. I need something smaller than the 20v tools I have now.

These 12v tools llok loke they have plenty of power, but smaller and lighter.

I wish good luck to everyone. Better luck to me. 😉

I would like to play with these a bit. I have had M12 for quite a while and just upgraded to the M12 surge this year. I would probably play around with these and then find some friends to give them too. I have given a lot of M12 tools, two impacts, two drills, a hackzall, a fuel impact, a power ratchet, a power screwdriver, and batteries and chargers. I enjoy giving them as much as I like using them.

I am starting a new tech job next week for a company that works on hydrogen fuel cells. In a nutshell, I will be repairing hydrogen fuel cells that are used to power forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment used in warehouses for companies such as Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Kroger, etc. I have been told that the majority of Technicians exclusively use Snap On drills/drivers. I would absolutely love to prove to them that I can get the job done just as efficiently using a Gen 3 M12 impact driver. I am currently an owner of some M12 and M18 tools and have never been let down by the performance and quality of any of them. I don’t have an M 12 impact driver though. It would be amazing to have a Gen 3 impact driver in my tool box to prove that you don’t need to have a fancy Snap On impact driver to do tech work on hydrogen fuel cells. Let me show these guys that Milwaukee can get the job done!

Milwaukee is the way to go. They’re the top in battery operated tools. And once you think you have the best and newest impact driver from Milwaukee, they manage to bring out another, new and more powerful. And that’s what I need in my trade. I’m a commercial HVAC tech and installer. And I’m always in need of a reliable and powerful tool. If I have this new set, it’ll add to my collection of Milwaukee tools and it’ll help me not to struggle. And that’s what we all want. To Work efficiently and with the least struggles as possible. I have a mix of construction and OPE M18 Fuel tools (I only buy the Fuel versions) and have been looking into getting into M12 with several of the lights and the hammer drill for the compact form factor. My only drill is a 3/8 chuck corded Dewalt that’s nearly worn out from screwing down plywood subfloor, that I’ve wanted to replace with battery power and a little smaller, I’ve compromised in the short term using hex shank drill bits in my M18 Fuel Impact Driver. I have 5 big projects that need to be completed in the next two years, finishing up crown moulding in my living room and foyer and replacing some damaged based boards, replacing two exterior doors due to rotted frames, installing hardwood flooring in my bonus room and on the stairs up to it (the wood is acclimating now), and a new deck off the kitchen door. My house has a brick veneer so will be building the deck like a free-standing deck but want to use the Simpson BVLZ Brick Veneer Ledger Connector, for a little overkill in attaching the ledger, as it will only be me and my wife doing the work, so I’ll be drilling 20-30 holes through the brick.

All day Drilling and driving for many tasks including cabinets, furniture assembly, electrical work, is a more enjoyable experience.

DON’T SEND ME THIS. Okay, I’d really like it, but I have an older version that just keeps working. Will this shave a couple of seconds off? Drive a bigger screw into harder material? I have never found my m12 drill/driver to not be up to the job it was designed for. If I need to put a 3/8″ lag bolt into concrete, the m18 Hammer drill is the proper tool. So, I’d love this, but don’t need it and it should go to someone in need.
The m12 products I have- Heated vest, screwdriver (clutch and low power good for cabinet hinges and knobs, radio, tower light, rover light, fuel hammer drill/impact kit, multi tool, jigsaw (not great- needs more power/maybe brushless?). 1-4 ah, 2-3ah, 6-2ah batteries.
Rotary tool- first time I used it the collet broke off inside and is stuck. Was past return date. That and the m12 jigsaw is my only negative experience.
    m18 – Hammer drill/impact, 7 1/4 fuel circ., super sawzall- a beautiful beast of a saw.
Top off inverter. I LOVE this thing. 2-4ah, 2-5ah, 1-6ah high output.

I heavily rely on cordless tools and have built a large arsenal of Milwaukee M12 and M18. I would love to upgrade my current m12 drill and impact to these to stay one step ahead of the curve. Having the latest and greatest has always been a passion on myself.

We’ve been talking about upgrading our tool kit for some time, and now that we’re getting ready to convert a cargo van to a campervan, it’s time to make the move. We’ve been eyeing Milwaukees lineup for multiple tools, and are pretty excited about the number of tools we’d be able to get under the same battery umbrella – including the Pex expander and especially that compact bandsaw. Wanted something powerful, yet still small and light enough that we can get in anywhere and use with ease. Not only did this line meet those needs, they’d be perfect for keeping with us when traveling.

I am currently not an M12 user; however, as I am an electronic repairer, I could definitely use these for pulling electronic devices, cordless tools, cordless tool batteries, etc, apart instead of screwing everything by hand. I am also an avid DIY’er so I would definitely use them for those projects as well.

Big M12 fan, had the lineup since owning my house. Perfect for DIY jobs. I put in my first ceiling fan, built a play set for my children, and even helped out my family a few times at their houses. If I would be lucky enough to win this M12 set, I would actually be giving it as a gift to my brother who was beyond impressed when witnessing the tools in action.

I use both the m12 and m18 platform of tools and I also have the pack out tool boxes. My first tool was the m12 ratchet and m12 impact driver that I had got from homedepot that was on sale a few years ago. I primarily use these tools for working on cars amd trucks and the ratchet was probably the best tool I’ve ever bought. Made my life really easy and now I don’t think I can go with out it. So if I were to win this kit, I would be using it in the automotive industry. Good luck to everyone.

I have an M 12 heated vest that I used to work in my garage during the winter, one battery is usually enough – but it would be nice to have more. I am currently all in on Makita 18 V and it is way bigger and bulkier than what I need 99% of the time I used to use M 12 stuff at work and it was always pretty decent – new fuel would be even better and so much easier to carry around the house when getting tasks done

You know, it is really unfair that this is for USA only. Personally, L would LOCE to have the M12 set, as I know a lot of electricians who swear by them…being light, small and powerful. My daughter, who is quite DIY-oriented, could use a set too, as she keeps borrowing mine! Still, as it is USA only, we’ll just have to buy them here in Australia. The brand is fantastic, but the prices here are astronomical…as an example, I paid $499 for the M18 drill/impact set, two batteries and charger came with it, June 2021. As of today, and I looked, the same set is $712!!! It’s getting to be unobtainable. So, Milwaukee…please have a heart and have a few competitions here, eh?

What I’ve noticed is that Milwaukee seems to bridge the gap between these two brands – right in the middle of construction AND automotive.

My full size drill and hammer driver are too big for them to use or tires them out pretty quickly. I bet the weight on this would let them get started a little sooner since they’re itching to do so. This would get me into the ecosystem and put me over the top to get some of those tools. I would also really benefit form having another drill and impact driver as I am constantly leaving my current ridgid 18v tools in the wrong place. The drill would complete my transition from Dewalt to M12. I have been using the impact for light drilling tasks (like a barbarian, I know) and have to go back to the Dewalt 20v for the more demanding tasks. With all positive reviews, I believe this drill can handle all I need.

I have about 20 M12 tools. I also do mechanic works, so M12 is the only logical choice.

I appreciate how M12 tools have grown in performance to be the “main tools” I also have recently concerned about how M12 tools also grown in size and weight ( you see this in most tools that went from bushed to brushless). I hope Milwaukee does not lose the “replace hand tools” focus. And I hope my concern is proving wrong with these free sample.

I was a long time Craftsman then Dewalt user and recently upgraded to Milwaukee for the one handed reciprocating saw to cut down some branches from my trees in the backyard and was amazed by the ease and power in such a light and compact tool. That was enough to tell me I needed to start swapping every other tool out I own. Plus my wife got me my Milwaukee workbench/tool chest combo that would match perfectly with this new set. I mainly use my tools for home improvement but also love taking my tools over to friend’s homes to help with their projects as well. I’m sure once they see these in action, they won’t need mine as they’ll finally buy their own Milwaukee tools.

There’s lots of small and medium projects around my house that I would use these tools for.

I do have a few M12 tools but not these! I have the bigger and heavier M18 versions which are great but usually they’re just too big and powerful. These would likely be the “goldilocks” size and power rate. We are nearing the end of our Chapel renovation there will be plenty of detail work in need of completion, installation and or adjustment so I will put these both to good use! Send ’em!!

I’m a handyman and there are times were I need the smaller form factor the M12 would give me to get into the hard to reach spaces that my M18 drills don’t allow, or at least without having to use a super long extension with the Milwaukee elbow added at the end, which is a pain to control.

I’m using a Dewalt DCF887 20v impact, and it doesn’t fit in my service pouch, so I usually end up having to rope up a tool bucket. This tool coupled with the 5 or 6 AH batteries adds a bit of weight to my kit, so the compact form factor M12 would be fantastic. Just like Jason+S prior I would use this set to kick off replacement of my older Bosch 12v stuff. They just don’t release enough tools in the US to justify buying more (of the same kit) for the newer batteries.

Eventually the batteries I have will be too weak to use and what to do at that point? I already use Milwaukee 12v at work and it is great, but those are work-issue and US Govt frowns on repurposing issue sets.

Milwaukee has a lot more options in 12v and I’ve got Ryobi 18v for the weird one-off tools they have, the sprayer is great.

I have enjoyed using smaller Bosch12v drills before, they are great for woodworking where I don’t need the power of a full sized drill, and the size and weight of a smaller drill are better.

The Milwaukee M12 hammer drill is especially appealing because the power is uncompromising and the 1/2″ chuck can handle larger bits. I would also be able to only carry one drill in my bag, it is always great to be able to drill for wall anchors without having to cary extra tools or make an extra trip.

Milwaukee also has a much larger selection of tools and great specialty tools for their 12v platform, so this set would be a great gateway onto the M12 platform.

For a number of years, I attempted to stick with M18 tools instead of accumulating both M12 and M18 batteries. Well, I finally deviated from that strategy a few weeks ago and picked up a M12 OMT. Now that I have taken the plunge, I am looking forward to expanding my M12 tool collection. The new M12 drill / impact driver kit would be a great addition to replace an older Bosch 12V drill that I have, especially now that the M12 has a mechanical clutch.

I have been thinking about trying Milwaukee having always been a dewalt guy. I like that their 12 volt batteries are cylindrical, unlike dewalt’s – seems like it would be more compact. I also really like their 23 gauge nailer, but it’s a bit pricey with the kit. Thanks for doing this!

I’m so glad to hear that you had such a positive experience with the latest generation of M12 drill and driver. You may recall that I have a deep lineup of Milwaukee tools. I would happily replace my waning first generation M12 drill and driver. Being a home remodeler, they see a lot of use. It just so happens that my M18 hammer drill is all but dead. I would love to try out the new version of M12 to see how it compares. I had the first generation M12 hammer drill, but it was severely under powered, so I returned it.

I would use this drill set to finish my basement. I have a bar that is mostly finished, using a DeWalt impact drill for woodwork, but requires drilling into cement block to complete the wall paneling in the bar area and I don’t yet have a hammer drill (plus my wife won’t let me justify a switch to Milwaukee on tools she already got for me as gifts lol). Once the bar is complete, I would hang dry wall to completely finish the rest of the basement. I would also frame out a wall and install a door to separate the man cave from the laundry room. Greatly appreciate the opportunity for a chance at this prize!

The “always have it with you” set for efficiency in any situation where you don’t need to run back out for the bigger tools. It would be fantastic for this considering the form factor; the power to weight ratio makes it perfectly suited.

Definetly not its user base, but needed something for some use intermittently, not my bread and butter. Would use it to sonsolidate my pack and add the hammer ability for anchorings. Being able to carry such a compact impact or drill that will keep up with or out perform the yellow “20v” in the guys hand next to you is why I continue to use my M12 tools. Me & a very good friend of mine do a LOT of work together, & he bleeds yellow! No matter what we are building, it’s a competition. He doesn’t even bring out his yellow 12, so it is always M12 vs. Yellow “20”. My impact is always hooked to my side; with or without your tool bags, going up ladders or carrying materials. My current M12 impact (gen 1 I believe) is the first tool I replaced after having EVERYTHING stolen by taking my Packout boxes. (BTW – the handle not being able to collapse down is a huge flag for the thieves while the Packout is in the bed of a truck) (NO, I didn’t have it locked)

After using the M12 rivet gun it inspired me to look into other Milwaukee tools. At home I started planning a woodworking project. I’m now a proud owner of the M12 Jigsaw and M12 Circular Saw. You go to buy one tool, you come out with two, plus other things that weren’t on your list. So now I’m here hoping to upgrade my old and worn out power drills.

What’s not to love about Milwaukee tools?!? They have stood the test of time, and I’d love to be the owner of this combo set.
This will be a nice addition to my tool bag and will be great for projects around the house as well as work.

I work as a fire truck mechanic for a city fleet and use my Milwaukee tools on a regular basis. The only M12 tools I own presently are a 1/4″ rachet and a 3/8″ rachet. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a M12 driver and drill and possibly an Underbody light. If I win this giveaway it would free me up to buy some other Milwaukee tools. Hands down the best battery operated tools I’ve ever owned! You have a customer for life!

The M12 are my first go to tools. I have my full size for other uses when needed. 90% of the time, I don’t need them at all.

I use m12 tools in my job as a fire stopper in a hospital, these tools are ideal as they are small and light great for small spaces and have the power to do any jobs they are asked to do, with ease. And with the larger batteries there is no need to keep changing for fresh ones as they will happily go all day. I wouldn’t use any other power tools and recommend them to everyone I speak to.

Plenty of M12 tools, but no traditional impact. Have a M12 hammer drill, but use the M18 Surge for most use, though ironically needs to be sent in to service right now.

M12 kit would be used on the farm, as well as house needs. Prefer using the smallest tool capable of getting the job done (without struggling).

Really hoping we will see brushless Fuel versions of the rotary tool, angle drill, and angle impact, and a soldering iron that doesn’t melt. Other than that, this is a phenomenal line of tools that pays my mortgage and puts food on the table daily.

I work for general contractor and we basically do remodels, room additions, decks, etc. A couple of months ago I decided to invest and upgrade my tools. I had been using DeWalt for several years but thought I’d take a look at what other tool brands had to offer. I ended up going with Milwaukee M12 tools. My only regret is I didn’t know there was a difference and didn’t get the M12 Fuel drill and impact drivers. I am impressed with what I have but having the Fuel set would be even better for what I do, especially when using structural and deck screws.

I do cabinetry so a lot of the time I do a small compact and tight spaces or I’m having to carry multiple drills around with me throughout the day going through different houses I think the small impact and Hammer tool will allow me to easily connect a boxes together ect

After spending the past few weekends building a deck with my Father in Law, him using a compact 12v and me using a fullsize Milwaukee 18v impact driver, I realize that sometimes bigger is not always better.
His was able to match mine screw-for-screw driving deck boards, albeit with a shorter battery life.

This set would be a very exciting addition to my M18 Milwaukee drill and driver. I am building my off grid home currently (a yurt in Vermont) and have many big projects left including my bathroom/shower house. I have been using my M18 kit for everything and do not own/have never used any M12 tools, but I think they would be much easier on my wrist. After driving screws all day with my heavier M18 my wrist really bothers me, but as a public school teacher I can not afford to buy additional tools that are more comfortable but similarly functional to what I already have. I would be curious to try the M12 tools and see if they are able to do everything I need so that I could spend less time running my heavier tools.

My business partner and I shared a collection of Dewalt 20V tools until I got tired of repeatedly being asked why the spare batteries weren’t charged. So, I bought my own set of M12 tools and left him to keep track of his own batteries, blades and bits. However, the M12 drill doesn’t match his for handling small drill bits or overall power. So, I would love to have an M12 drill capable of keeping up with the 20V drill.
I use the M12 and try to expand my collection regularly. My favorite is the jigsaw and least useful is the stapler which just doesn’t have enough power for upholstery projects.
