Tool Nut Milwaukee M12 Rtachet and Packout Deal

Today only, this Milwaukee M12 ratchet and Packout combo kit is on sale for $99 at Tool Nut.

It’s sold out already, but backorders are being accepted, so if you order today, you’ll still get that $99 price locked in.

I’m told that its new price will be $119, starting tomorrow. Other dealers have it for $159-180 at the moment.

If you want to use the Packout tool box as a standalone organizer, note that it doesn’t come with bins, but you can order them separately.

Price: $99

Buy Now(via Tool Nut)
Compare(via Home Depot)

Sale price ends at 11:59pm ET 5/24/2018.

Update: Free shipping is on $100+ orders. This Bosch square drive bit holder adapter might be a good “filler” to set you over the threshold.

Omg!1! The fake enthusiasm is grating. Does every headline have to end in an exclamation mark? And this isn’t even a good deal since it’s an older tool and not very useful according to all the commentary from a couple days ago.

No? Sorry, I was in a rush, and it’s not “fake enthusiasm.” (The rush is because there are 2 different server issues going on right now, and I’m trying to deal with them in a way that doesn’t take things offline. But I didn’t want to miss the 11am deadline for the automatic newsletter, hence the brevity of the post and lack of usual “what I think” discussion.)

Here’s how I see it: The Packout organizer retails for $30. The 2456-21 ratchet kit typically retails for $159.

It’s an older tool, but a lot of people still use it and like it. Is it as powerful as the new M12 Fuel? No. Does it benefit from years of feedback-driven improvements? No. But considering the price, it’s a good deal.

Not for you? That’s okay, I’m sure there will be Memorial Day deals that apply to the new Fuel models. But I can tell you that they won’t be bundled with Packout organizer boxes, and they won’t be $99.

I think Seamus was talking about the ad, not your post as “fake”.

Maybe, but the front page excerpt does have an exclamation point.

Seems like a good deal if you want a 1/4 ratchet rather than a perhaps more useful 3/8 or 1/2 inch tool. But its interesting that the advertising copy says: “Choose the sub-compact ratchet with best-in-class power”
I would have thought that verbiage would have been reserved for the newer M12 Fuel (brushless) model 2556-20 – when talking about a 1/4 inch cordless ratchet .

They may consider brushed and brushless to be separate classes of tool. Or maybe no one bothered to change the copy after the fuel versions came out.

Where would the bins go if the tool’s inside? =)

They’re available separately for a small fee, or can be harvested from other Milwaukee organizer products.

Do you have a link or location for the bins? I’ve tried to find them but have had no luck so far

          $5 via Acme Tool

Model number is 31-01-0501 for the 5-bin kit.

Sure a lotta complaining about a “deal”.
And personal knowing how much trouble multiple “server issues” are I’m just pleased you remembered and were able to post the darn thing. And add the Bosch Bit Holder idea to throw it over the Free Shipping threshold.
Plus it’s nearly a three day plus weekend for those who partake of such things.
    So good job. Jeez.

Was so tempted to buy this, but I already have the 3/8th version. Even though it’s a great price, I can’t see the need for a 1/4″ model since it’s the same size as the 3/8th model.

I own this particular ratchet model and, being honest, I always thought it was way too weak and had little real world use. The idea of having to press a button instead of moving your arm back and forth is awesome but it’s too big to get into tight spots and too weak to tackle any serious nuts and bolts, like the ones its Fuel cousin has no problem taking off… This is why, free packout or not, I’d rather have the Fuel. Maybe I’ll just give this one away, we’ll see.
