Hot Deal: Milwaukee M18 Drill Kit is Back at $99

Milwaukee 2606 M18 Drill Driver

If you remember from our best 18v cordless drill kits for $99 post, the Milwaukee M18 2606-21CT kit hits the magical ~$100 price point only during certain times of the year.

This drill kit, which comes with Milwaukee’s regular M18 brushed motor drill and not a cheapened one – to my knowledge – first appeared last April, just ahead of Father’s Day. I figured it would be back around the holiday season, and here it is.

$99 gets you a good drill, a single 1.5Ah Li-ion battery pack, a charger, and hard-shell carrying case.

The Milwaukee M18 2606 drill delivers up to 500 in-lbs, which is respectable for a compact cordless drill.

If red isn’t quite your color, and you don’t mind giving up some power, Bosch’s DDB181 18V drill kit dropped in price to $99 again recently. It’s a very compact cordless drill at entry-level prices, and you get (2) Li-ion battery packs for the price.

The Milwaukee drill is more heavy duty, the Bosch kit might give you a little more in terms of low and medium duty runtime since you get two batteries instead of Milwaukee’s one.

Can’t go wrong either way, these are both great DIYer drills if you want/need a compact 1/2″ drive 18V tool.

Milwaukee really needs to sell this kit with 2 batteries. The other brands seems to be able to make it happen for the 99 dollar price point.

They do have this drill in a 2-battery kit… for $179.
