Over at Home Depot, today’s deal of the day is this Milwaukee M18 2657-22CT compact impact driver kit, with a sale price of $89.
This set normally sells for $200, making this a fantastic deal that probably won’t last long. Just the bare 2657-20 tool by itself normally sells for $99! In other words, you can get this kit for $10 less than just the impact driver.

The M18 impact driver delivers up to 1500 in-lbs of torque and comes with a standard Milwaukee multi-voltage charger, (2) 1.5Ah Li-ion batteries, and a carrying case.
A special point about this impact driver is that it has two speed and torque settings, not just one. I don’t think I have seen any other non-brushless (aka premium) impact drivers that also offer multiple speed settings.
This deal is valid today only, 12/4/2014, and will expire at 4am 12/5 unless supplies run out sooner. Given how good of a deal this is, it will probably sell out long before it is set to expire.

Thanks to Adam for the tip!

Damn you! With the batteries alone selling for $76 a pair on amazon I succumbed to the deal. Now my Milwaukee drill has a buddy and extra batteries.

Don´t worry, they got me too! ;). I’m heavily invested in the M12 line but never had a huge reason to jump into the M18 line. I guess it’s official now. I honestly don’t even need an 18v impact driver as I have one from another brand at home. But like you said, the charger and two M18 batteries alone makes it worth it for me. It’s a black hole I tell you . . .

Fantastic deal!
I was abiout to bite – but resisted the urge- as I already have an old Makita 12V NiCad 1/4 hex impact driver, a M12 1/4 hex impact driver and a M18 Fuel 7/16 hex impact driver – how many can one old guy use.

“I don’t need this. I don’t need this. I don’t need this.” (Not sure this is going to work!)

I talked myself out of getting it for myself, but I did get one for a friend who could really use it. Great deal!

Damnit. This time of year destroys my tool budget.

Holy heck. I can’t afford this right now. Christmas, water pump in the 4runner, another baby coming in February. Gah! Lol a super good deal that I don’t “need” it I sure want it lol.

It got me.
It got me good. I have a full dewalt set, but it always tends to be out working.
Looks like this may “stay” in the house when I need it.
But it's me!
Sold out, alas! The wife will be happy.
Pete
I think that was one of the quickest sell outs I’ve seen

Dang, I just got the 12 volt deal last week now this. I got two of these today. What am I gonna do with all these drivers…
Kevin
damn, that would be a solid deal if this was just a Ryobi, but a Milwaukee with 2 batts thats incredible.

If you go by looks the milwaukee m18 brushed line looks nicer than the brushless unlike dewalts brushless looks a lot nicer than it’s brushed line.I don’t want to hear it the performance isn’t that big a difference so I’m going with the brushed version over the brushless the only thing I’ll buy brushless is the circular saw

They will be all over ebay by 12/5, same as the m12 kits, which already are. Wait for Christmas, after Christmas I’m sure other sales…..

It is “the buy it on sale, sell it on eBay” that is killing both venues… Same with those who buy all the 22LR ammo from walmart and then sell it on gunbroker… Sad side of capitalistic ingenuity.

On the other hand, I already am invested in the M12 system, and found a bare tool drill for 32 bucks delivered, so those that buy the sets and strip them out for sale have worked OK for me. Nice to have more than one drill when woodworking.

I’d advise to check the “local” HD flyer every week and online everyday past New Years.. I’m waiting for a Bosch or Milwaukee promo…
(off topic) See the new Ryobi (green) drill press? They made some improvements to the older model…
