Sorry – I saw this deal at 7am, but it’s taken me nearly 7 hours to get back to my computer. Busy morning.
While I know some of you are going to see this in a Tuesday Morning email – SORRY!! – it’s still a good deal worth mentioning Monday afternoon while the deal is still valid.

Today only, 10/9/2017, Home Depot has a couple of Milwaukee M18 cordless tool kits and combo kits on sale.
Some of the deals are decent, others require a little more thought. For example, is the M18 Fuel sliding miter saw a good deal at $469 (yes!), or is it worth waiting until there’s a free tool or battery promo?
The drill, impact, LED, and power source deal (2nd on the list) seems to be particularly good.
Here are the deals:
- M18 Fuel 10″ Miter Saw Kit, for $469
- M18 Drill, Impact Driver, LED Light, USB Power Source, for $159
- M18 High-Torque Impact Wrench Kit, for $299
- M18 Hackzall Reciprocating Saw Kit w/ XC Battery, for $149
- M18 Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Kit, for $179
- M18 6-Tool Combo Kit, For $449
PLUS, get $10 off $100+ with coupon code HomeDepot10.

Re:
M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (2-Tool) with LED Light and Power Source @ $159…
Can someone tell me what that small red item is that is pictured to the right of the charger? I searched the Home Depot product description — couldn’t find a list of “what’s in the box” or other explanation. (Is it a small battery just for the flashlight?)
Stuart
That’s the USB power source. It basically turns your M18 battery into a USB charging bank.
Unless I’m mistaken, the current models can also still be used to power M12 heated jackets.
Jeff
It looks to be a USB power supply.
You can charge any USB powered device with the batteries.
Pretty useful gadget to have.
francis
what is up with the link? it wont load. Is it monetized or something?
Stuart
Which one?
Yes, but that shouldn’t affect loading. I also tested each link before publishing.

“This site can’t be reached
http://www.anrdoezrs.net refused to connect.”
I think my server blocks androezrs. I searched it and I guess its blocked often for people..
Stuart
Sorry, this is the first I’ve heard of it.
Redirect links are necessary for most of the affiliates we participate with.
For HD, the special buy deal of the day page is always at http://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay .
If you need the internet SKUs or non-affiliate links for any of the links above, I can provide them here.
If a link with anrdoezrs.net is being blocked, there are several other domains I can swap in. The company Home Depot and some others use owns that and a few other domains, and seemingly uses them interchangeably. I swapped one in just now – please let me know if it helps. The non-affiliate link shown above of course will be easier, but I’m thinking ahead to the holiday season when there will be lots of links, adscans, and so forth. It’ll be too much work to post regular and non-redirecting links side by side, but I can try to make things easier, such as including internal SKUs in the “slugs”.

Oh man. I just bought an M12 driver/impact kit. I wonder if I can return it?
Stuart
You might be able to.
But M12 vs. M18… surely you had some reason to choose M12.
Sorry, that’s all I have. I’m the wrong person to talk to when it comes to these things. I’d buy the M18 combo with the idea to return the M12, but end up with both because the deals were too good to pass up and because M12 and M18 are complementary.
I would say that unless any of these M18 deals very closely matched your needs or wants, that there might be better deals coming along in the coming weeks.
If you just bought an M12 kit, now’s the time to check the return policy. Then again, if you can use it immediately, that’s more than could be said for the deals ending in a few hours, or the deals that are weeks away.
Koko The Talking Ape
Yeah, they have slightly different niches, but if I had to have one, I probably should get the stronger one, right? (I think there was a discussion about that some time ago.)
The driver, impact driver, light and charger kit matches my needs pretty well. And it is the kit I got, except it adds a light and charger, and loses one (teeny battery), and it is M18 instead of M12. :/
