Acme Tools kicked off a new Milwaukee Packout flash sale, with a 15% discount on select tool boxes, accessories, and components.
Acme says the deal is valid on select Milwaukee Packout products, but I haven’t seen any exceptions yet, aside for M18-powered products.
The sale includes Packout tool boxes and drawer tool boxes, organizers, and accessories, and also Packout workshop and wall-mounted storage products and accessories.

There’s no minimum order amount either, so you can still save if purchasing something small as part of a larger non-Packout order.
Coupon Code: PACKOUT15
The deal ends at 11:59pm CST 3/23/24. Max discount is $100 per order.

In regards to portable storage, a couple of the Lowes by me have a decent selection of Toughbuilt in the normal bays. As of two days ago, no sale. But they had large tool boxes, compact tool boxes, storage organizers with little bins, milk crates, even a white plastic cooler in the foot print of the compact tool box. Also a fair number of accessories to go with the storage. What I didn’t see was any large tool boxes with pull out drawers. Why Milwaukee Packout sale got me on this subject was the Toughbuilt plastic didn’t not seem as thick as Packout, but admittedly an unscientific looksie at the Lowe’s.
Still, the Toughbuilt seemed robust.
Also, right next to the Toughbuilt were some Flex storage items, right there where you could touch them. The selection was similar but a bit less for flex, no cooler, less accessories. Prices were about the same, the milk crate was exactly the same at $34.

Back on 02-14-2024, there were several ToughBuilt StackTech XL 3-drawer tool boxes @ $169 at my local Lowe’s store (around ABQ, NM).

I want to like packout but I started small and not impressed. I think I was expecting more universal fit with other manufacturers’ bits.

I like the storage drawers, and the cabinets. These newer additions lets you remove items from the boxes, without dismantling the stack. The tool gun storage cabinet placed on top of stack, allows battery powered mobile tool storage . I just wish they were made in the USA!
