All of the deals look decent, if those tools have been on your wishlist or shopping list at one time or another, but the 5-tool cordless power tool combo kit looks to be especially good.

Surprisingly, the M18 Fuel mid-torque impact wrench is also on sale, as a $199 special buy. A Google cache of the page from 2 days ago shows that the price was $219. Other retailers have it priced at $250 and up.

The power tools all look to ship for free, and the hand tools ship for free as part of $45+ orders.

The deals end at 3am ET 10/9/2018, unless supplies sell out sooner.

If this deal had come 2+ weeks ago – I’d have purchased the 7.5″ version. Instead, as my first miter saw ever – I went with the newly improved/upgraded $129 7.5″ Sliding Ryobi: 10″ cross-cut; LED/shadow cut-line ; dual miter; single bevel – so far, it seems like a very good value and I’m happy to finally have a miter saw.

I’ve cut aluminum closet rods (with the appropriate blade), molding, stock, etc. Its such a different experience than trying to use my hand-held circular or a hand saw. I had hand-cut one rod with a hack-saw and the edges came out all jagged and slightly askew – with the miter, they were clean and true. Honestly, at the moment, I can’t understand what exactly a hand-held circular saw is really good for these days – it seems like a total compromise to just about every other tool option available. The only case I can see, is if one had very limited space and budge and if you also purchased (or built I guess) – a track/guide for it. Otherwise, it seems like miter or table or jig or recip would be better; and I’ve long found a good pull saw is often just as good and faster than the circular, and creates significantly less mess with no noise.

Believe me I get you, I hate circular saws. There’s a reason why my Sawzall is my baby but my circular saw isn’t. You will never be able to replicate the ease of use of a chop saw with a circ saw but versatility is limited. Sometimes you just got to use a circular saw to be able to do wierd cuts or make cuts in wierd places. For example, when we put in fascia board, we cut all of our rafter tails in place to ensure that the board is straight. You can’t do that with a chop saw. Also if you’re doing anything with sheeting such as OSB, circ saws are the way to go. Additionally, it’s not as much of an issue now that I have a battery powered miter saw, but there is the ease of having a small saw that can make the same cuts as a giant saw. It does not require as much work to set up for a circular saw as all you have to do is grab it from the truck and quickly make your cut. End of the day, I have a really nice Sawzall, a really nice chop saw, and a pretty crappy circ saw. There’s a reason for that, but I will always need one simply because there’s some jobs you just have to have one.

I don’t think the commenter is a commercial level framer,. This is his first miter saw. That Ryobi is a good saw, it has the shadow line instead of a laser, uses common blade sizes, and will do what he needs. I have a buddy with the one+one 10″ miter, we use that thing all the time to cut square aluminum tubing, it’s been a champ. Accurate, powerful, and even moving it around all the time, it hasn’t lost all the adjustments for square yet.

With your new saw, look through the manual, and go through the process to square everything up. Doesn’t matter what brand saw, the first thing to do is always get everything squared and aligned, and the Ryobi should have instructions for that and where the adjustments are. Hope you enjoy the saw and get some good use out of it!

There’s no need to be disparaging. Everyone starts at some point.

According to Home Depot’s page, the 7 1/4″ miter saw is the kit that includes one battery and charger. The tool-only kit is 399 from most other places, so 349 with a battery and the extra blade is a good discount. I’ve been waiting on a good deal on that saw; we’ll see if the kit version with battery is what shows up, or if they send the bare tool with the bonus blade.

MC – use the re-shipper myus.com. Works every time, but you need to set up a PayPal account and change your home address to your new re-shipper address.

Lycka till, fungerar utmärkt även för amazon.com och Ebay.com

What happens with import / duty when tools arrive in EU.

Last time I sent something to EU, 3 day air … it was held for weeks and not released until an unreasonable duty was paid, as they valued the item higher than it cost and levied duty on inflated cost item + shipping + insurance paid.

            Thank you.
I will keep myus in mind for next time. My item was a birthday gift to my mother, sent via US postal air mail … surprise, she got a pickup notice and had to pay ### at the post office or would not have gotten package. :/

My buddy bought the same Milwaukee 7.25″ miter saw kit when it was on sale a few months ago for $369. It came with the 5.0 battery, charger, blade and an additional blade. He loves it.

I’ve been checking Home Depot’s one day deals & was really happy to get it yesterday for an additional $20 off the bare tool price!
