BladeHQ
Nothing at BladeHQ, one of my favorite places to buy pocket knives from, quite catches my attention this year, but maybe there’s something in the Black Friday sale that you’d be interested in.
Well, the Kershaw Dash knives do look appealing, but they’re larger knives than I tend to prefer carrying. They have 3.5″ blades made from some premium stuff (Bohler N690), assisted opening mechanisms (Kershaw is the best at this in my experience), and they’re made in the USA. The price is decent – $65, which is a lot lower than the rebranded Snap-on price of $134!
Spend $75+, get a free t-shirt.

I’ve been posting the “deals” that have been flooding into my inbox over on the Toolguyd Community Forum.
I make no claim that any of them are any good – but just have been putting them there as a resource for comparison shopping.
The Zoro 30% off deal – going on now is sometimes quite appealing:

How do you get the 10$ of pb swiss on amazon.
Stuart
Sorry about that, it’s 10% off.
Last year I only wanted 2 things and it came out better at 10% off and free shipping than 30% off plus shipping.
JamesOuzts
Oh. That makes since. $10 off would make some stuff free. To good to be true. Thanks for doing this research for us.

Aaaaaand one more knife gets added to the collection… Not that I needed another EDC. Curiosity and BF pricing just got the better of me.
Stuart
Which one?

Brous Blades Mini Division Flipper Knife Blackout Carbon Fiber (3.5″ Acid SW)

Nice!
That did seem like a great deal. I was tempted, but I’m a bit behind on my knife reviews and couldn’t justify it.
I’m ready to give Brous another chance. My very brief experience with the Bionic was good, but the lock didn’t suit my preferences.

I would have liked to try out the Microtech automatic too, but I live in one of those states with draconian knife laws left over from West Side Story era fear mongers.

Thanks Stuart. Took advantage of the Tool Lady deal to grab a huge bunch of Phillips and picks. I have wanted some PB Swiss stuff for some while. With the 30% and free shipping over $100 this was a nice Black Friday catch IMHO.
