The third reader-suggested Most Valuable Tool is SK’s stubby ratcheting screwdriver set, as nominated by ToolsandGarages Forum member Wilbilt.
Wilbilt had this to say about the SK 73676 stubby ratcheting screwdriver set:

I don’t work on cars for a living anymore. These days, I am usually dealing with rack-mounted network equipment and servers. This means driving lots and lots of screws. This set, with the provided bits and interchangeable shanks has proven to be my go-to tool at work. It is compact and easy to carry around, unlike a cordless drill with charger or a handful of regular screwdrivers. The quality is excellent. I have a Snap-On ratcheting long-shank driver, but usually grab the S•K kit first.
It looks like Wilbilt makes a very good argument and offers excellent points for choosing the SK set over other available option.
The contest isn’t over yet – there’s one more chance to enter with a “Most Valuable Tool” nomination of your own. Once the final MVT entry is chosen to be featured on ToolGuyd, two winners will be chosen from amongst the finalists. The top two prizes are a Gearwrench Roto Ratchet set, and a $20 Amazon.com gift certificate!
Currently it looks like the cheapest place to find one of these SK sets is via Sears, but it can be found elsewhere as well.

I have this set and it is excellent. I think I got it for less than $18 on sale at Sears. The ratcheting mechanism of the handle is super smooth.

Hey, I have this too! Cool. Yeah, I agree, it’s pretty nice.
I have it on my motorbike (less the plastic case to save space). Added a few other bits and a few 1/4″ sockets, tossed others I didn’t need, and it’s a charm, in a small package.

Excellent!
This is going on my shopping list.
