Home Depot has another tool deal of the day sales event for today, 6/28/23.
There look to be some new deals, as well as many returning ones.
The deals feature Milwaukee cordless power tools, hand tools, and accessories, Dewalt cordless power tool combo kits, Ryobi cordless power tools, Ridgid cordless power tools and bundles, and more.

Bosch’s popular router combo kit is on sale for $179, which is decent but average. Ryobi has a 24pc 1/4″ router bit set for $55. Milwaukee’s 1/4″ drive 50pc inch and metric socket set looks to be a good buy at $85.
Milwaukee’s Big Hawg carbide hole saw kit is on sale again.
Dewalt has a green self-leveling 3-spot laser level for $99.
A bundle with the Milwaukee Packout 20″ tool bag and a zippered pouch is $72.
These sales are always worth a quick look.

Ridgid’s 18V power source adapter and 2x battery bundle deal has also returned. You get the power inverter, a 2Ah battery, and a 4Ah battery for $129.

Acme Tools has kicked off their July 4th sale, which features a 10% discount off purchases over $99. Use coupon code BOOM. This sale ends at 11:59pm CST on 7/3/2023. Max savings is $100 per order.
Acme’s typical brand exclusions apply, but the discount looks to apply to plenty of tools, including newer Dewalt and Milwaukee cordless power tools.
Milwaukee’s USA-made hand tools are about to drop, with many if not all SKUs included in this promo.

KC Tool has a deal of the day on these Knipex 28 81 280 long-reach assembly pliers.
Lowe’s has deals of the day on a gasoline/propane generator, gutter guards, Metabo HPT sawhorses, select EcoFlow portable generators and accessories, a Greenworks pressure washer, a robot vacuum and mop, decorative throw pillows, and a Ninja 9-in-1 pressure cooker.

Ohio Power Tool has some new tool deals, including a Bosch promo where you can save $20 off $100+ or $75 off $300+. They have more promos here.
$75 off $300+ Bosch tools seems quite good.

I was price-comparing some of the Bosch tools eligible for Ohio Power Tool’s promo, and found that the GET76-6N 6-inch sander is less expensive at Amazon.
It’s $289 at Amazon, which seems to be a good price for this sander, plus you save $20 at checkout, and it’s also eligible for $55 off $300+ promo.
For all you cordless power tool fans out there, there are quite a few options eligible for this deal – Bosch rotary hammers, vacuums, circular saws, oscillating multi-tool, sanders, router accessories, a surface grinder, and more.

There is/was some sort of pack out deal on Home Depot last night. Buy $270 get $50 off – grabbed a cooler and a tumbler. Was able to stack the credit card 10% with it.

Acme had a free organizer at a similar price point, but Home Depot was more flexible.

That’s whack, the original price for a 2A + 4A + the little inverter is $287. Discounted to $129 … and 129 is hardly a deal. That should be the regular price.
Does HD think we’re stupid when at times batteries or tools are given away for free – but really making the battery and the tool each 50% off, which more truly reflect their bottom line retail value.
Stuart
What other brand has 2x Li-ion batteries with 6Ah total charge capacity and a power source with AC and USB-C charging for under $150?
As for the $287 retail value, this is a bundle deal comprised of 3 SKUs:
2Ah battery AC8400802 – $79
4Ah battery AC87004 – $119
Inverter AC86097 – $89
Does it make sense for the 4Ah battery to be $119 while the 2-pack is promo-priced at $99 right now? Of course not, but that’s automatic pricing algorithms for you.
The inverter sells for $89 by itself.
A 2-pack of Ridgid 18V 4Ah batteries is $99.
With that in mind, and since there’s no 2Ah 2-pack to pull best-value pricing from, let’s say the 2-battery bundle has a realistic promo value of $79. $79 + $89 would be $168. $129 is decent for what you get.
I don’t have any Ridgid 18V tools on-hand (I donated all of my personal tools and test samples). If any of the cordless power tool brands I bought into offered a similar deal, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I guess $129 is reasonable if one considers sales and bundles … a basic 2A battery ~$20, 4A battery ~$50, the inverter ~$80 ? That’d be about $150. But I consider the 2A battery more of a filler than anything. Good for a flashlight and very light use, so maybe that’d be good for the usb side of things. On 110 its sibling Ryobi draws power down very quickly using 3A batteries. Anyway. My point was about the 287 standard price. I can’t see any justification for that. They’re just playing the numbers game so they can call it 50% off.
Stuart
The way I see it, $89 for just the inverter can be a hard sell. But in a bundle like this, you spend more but get more.
$287 is the actual “if you were to buy the 3 parts separately right now” price.
The 2Ah is a terrible price, the inverter is okay if you want only that, and the 4Ah battery is a terrible price seeing as how you can get the 2-pack for less with current promo pricing. But the $287 is still technically 100% accurate.
It’s kind of like how a value meal at McDonalds costs less than if you were to buy a sandwich, soda, and fries separately.
But like I said, I personally consider the bundle retail value to be $168 or so. More than that would be seem inflated. $149 or $159 would be a good everyday bundle price. $129 seems very good for deal of the day pricing.

I am needing the m12 fuel bandsaw to have a deal or sale.
Steve
The band saw was recently a HD deal of the day.
And, it’s been at various prices the last few months.
Hold out for a returning deal at HD, especially during amazon prime week, lol.
