I recently posted about Wera’s new Kraftform precision screwdriver set. It’s a fantastic set, but if you’re looking for a more reasonable priced option, Oria has a couple of sets that are work considering.

Oria Precision Screwdriver Set 60-in-1 set
I purchased a mini screwdriver set from Oria a few years ago and it’s been invaluable. Whether it’s changing the battery in my Suunto watch, adjusting sunglasses, or changing the batteries in various kids’ toys.
The 60-in-1 set includes 56-bits covering almost every eventuality. All of the bits are packaged in a nice compact case that still provides easy access. The screwdriver is well proportioned and includes a swivel cap end allowing you to apply pressure while you spin the driver with your finger tips.
It also includes a flexible screwdriver shaft, allowing easier access to those hard to reach spots.

Oria Precision Screwdriver Kit 76-in-1 set
They also sell a larger set that includes an anti-static wrist strap, tweezers, SIM card ejector pin, triangle plectrum, plastic spudgers, and metal spudger. This kit might be useful for tasks such as swapping out hardware in a PC.
And yes, I did have to look up what a spudger is – apparently it’s a tool for separating pressure-fit plastic components, such as a phone case. You learn something new every day!
Stuart’s Note: A metal spudger can be used as a sort of thin wedge (but can be delicate), while plastic spudgers are useful for soldering tasks and other such things when you need a tool for part manipulation. Here’s more about a 3M plastic spudger I’ve been using.

Xiaomi Wiha 24-in-1 Precision Screwdriver Set
If you’re looking for a more familiar brand, this Xiaomi is worth a look, with the tools made by Wiha. Not only does it include 24 of the most common bits, it’s also a very pretty set! I’m tempted to buy it just based on that alone!

Final Thoughts

I have a Tekton set that has helped a bunch. Nice compact case. They also have a smaller assortment if you think your needs will be more basic.

I have the same sets. The first set was actually part of a much larger set that included additional bits, such as security hex and star bits.
The small set is very nice and does the job for small electronics. The precision and finish on the bits is nicer than most cheap sets, although not as good as Wiha or Japanese screwdrivers.

A few years ago I purchased the Wiha #75977 ESD Safe Micro Bit Set. It offers a fairly extensive set of 4.0mm hex drive bits with two drivers and a 4″ extension drive. Multi-bit sets are great but there are times when nothing replaces individual screwdrivers for reach into a recess or the slim shaft. For that reason I have a number of individual screwdrivers from both Wiha and Wera. This collection has served me well for computer/electronic work and other precision applications.

I’ve got sets of Wiha precision screw & Torx drivers and just recently would’ve liked to have had some similar nutdrivers handy – I used an old old pair of Channellock slip-joint pliers to get past it (a $2 flea market find).
In checking to get a similar bunch of Wiha nut drivers, both metric & silly, gets to about $100. Looking for a solution to that…

Aven was clearing out some small nut driver sets not too long ago on their website. I got a set for a ridiculously low price. They worked just fine for me (working on camera and electronic devices)
I also got some stainless precision tweezers that were surprisingly good.

I purchased a few sets almost identical to the top one a few years ago on a “special buy” from somewhere (I want to say they were ~$5 each). They are branded Vermont America but not sure that actually matters since I’m sure this kit gets rebranded a lot. But it has been super handy to have on hand for the little stuff that comes up (battery access, towel rod set screws, etc).

I have that same ORIA 60-in-1 set but with S2 steel bits. I haven’t gotten a ton of use out of it, but on the occasions I have needed it, it’s been worth every penny.

I take some umbrage at the terms “high quality” or “precision” being used to describe the cheapest-of-the-cheap steel driver bits, which round off if you look at them funny.
The Wiha is probably better, but I’ve learned my lesson with a set that looks 99% identical to that Oria, and I know better now.

Not that I know of, Wira has a ratchet driver but it’s 4-5x wider. It would be nice to find one!
