Ben introduced you to Rockler’s Bandy Clamps, and I wrote about the 2 new Bandy Clamp sizes that complement the standard sized clamp.
Rockler sent over test samples some time ago, and I’ve been using them for all sorts of cable-management and general spring clamp needs.

I can’t tell you how awesome these have been for taming wild cables, power cords, and other types of wires, and even tubing.
Yes, there are other ways to temporarily route and control power cords and such, and definitely more compact ways, but Rockler’s Bandy Clamps are by far the easiest and quickest to use.
Although designed for edge banding clamping needs, I have found these to be spectacular spring clamps, for random general purpose needs.
Right now, for a very limited time (the deal was only supposed to run yesterday for 1 day only), these clamps are on sale – 3 pairs for $30.
They’re regularly $20 per pair, or $50 for 3 pairs, and so $30 for 6 clamps is a great deal. That’s just $5 per clamp!

I don’t know when the deal will end. The email said that these are a 2016 New Year’s Day 1-day-only sale, while supplies last. Since today is January 2nd, the price should have sprung back to $50, but they didn’t. Not that I’m complaining – I planned to buy 2 more sets yesterday but couldn’t reach a computer all day.
I ordered 2 packs of 3 pairs, for a total of 12 more clamps. I definitely wanted a few more, and although I don’t know what I’ll do with all these clamps, I’m sure they’ll come in handy. The price was too good to pass up.
P.S. Ben reminded me that the Rockler T-track table (Buy Now) is on sale again, for $180. It’s normally priced at $250.

Neat that is a pretty good deal.

Damn. Darn. Dangitall. Another must try these out value you’ve found.
And so I just ordered 6.
Criminy.
So much for just one New Years Resolution I’m stumbled on already.

I bit on their before Christmas deal ($49.99 for 6- plus a $10 gift card) – but this is obviously better. I tried them out last week – and I like them – but not so much that I would buy them again. They are built much better than lots of the other plastic spring clamps that you see on the market. But – I find that they are a bit awkward to use for edge gluing. Maybe it’s my old smallish hands – but getting them into position to apply pressure on the edge was a bit cumbersome – as they seemed to want to move around. I ended up using them in conjunction with (spaced between) my Bessey and Pony edge clamps to apply pressure. Once my older clamps were in place – firmly holding the maple edging – I could use the Rocklers to add some additional support. Anyway the glue-up turned out fine ready for my lipping planer. BTW – since retiring – I’ve been using a Cantex – which I like way better than the Hoffman we had in the shop.

I use them for holding Melamine pre-glued edging in place whilst I iron it on to a board’s edge.
I also bought another six yesterday.
I tried getting some of those Bessey clamp deals from Home Depot but they don’t like South Africans.

Thanks, Stuart. I was waiting for a good sale on these. I have one pair and like them.
