Sears’ Black Friday 2018 ad has been made public, and there are a couple of tool deals that some of you might find interesting.
There are fewer deals than in previous years, and there seems to be a bigger focus on cashback “points” than in past years.

I should point out – that MidWest snips deal looks particularly good. They’re normally $20 each, and so $25 for 2 is a good deal.
Jason
This could be the last Sears black Friday ad potentially. Well at least Sears in its current form.
John
I had to go on the Sears website to see where in the world a full retail Sears is near me. I live in an urban neighborhood of Nashville and besides the scratch-n-dent/appliance location 2 miles away, only a few full Sears are 20-30 miles out of town in the outlying counties.
Haven’t been to any Sears since 2004 when we bought our scratch-n-dent (perfect condition) fridge. Still works as day one.
James R.
Probably because most of the malls around Nashville have shuttered up.

Am I the only one that only came here for funny sears hate comments?
Ken
I did too. Haven’t bought or seriously considered anything from sears in years.
Josh Pultz
I can’t find the 2 drawer storage seat anywhere on their site…..
Stuart
That’s not unusual – it happens every year before Black Friday sales go into effect.

Maybe they have Lloyd Christmas on the payroll… “That’s as good as money, sir. Those are I.O.U.’s.”
David Zeller
Hey! That’s footnote number 2!!! 🙂
John
Your a funny man.

Question is will the stores actually have these items in stock, didnt most distributors cut them off.
OT – Did anyone else get the Amazon xmas catalog they mailed out? Brought back Sears memories.
Jim Felt
Besides the MidWest snips I’m actually curious if anything at all is Made in the US?
Thoughts? Prayers? Chapter 7?
Perp walk for Eddie?
Charles
Sears still has brick and mortar? I thought their only stores left were in tool hell.
Cr8on
My local Sears is on the chopping block. I’ll probably go to the liquidation sale in January or whenever….
CT
Go before the liquidation starts, the prices go up when the liquidators come in.
Gordon
Yep. By the time “liquidation” has started the store has already been sold to a 3rd party. Your only hope at that point is to go in towards the end of the “sale” and buy stuff as they’re virtually giving it away.
Christopher
Some of these are good deals, but as someone who frequently uses ShopYourWay to fill my tool box on the cheap, I have gotten better deals on most the products listed in this ad at random times throughout the year. The only reason the pursue these sales is for the points back. I have gotten so much free stuff because of cash back. However the long term outlook of Sears would have me nervous on deals that took multiple months to get all points.
Another thought: why would anyone buy Sears craftsman’s 20v max drill and impact when Stanley’s Craftsman v20 drill and impact are only $99 at Lowe’s right now. While it is the lower spec drill I’m sure it still out performs the Sears one.
Nate
The drill/ driver is $69 right now at Lowe’s
Stuart
Yep. Bought it and reviewed it yesterday – https://14cyiuhvcgv.com/craftsman-black-friday-2018-cordless-drill-kit-cmcd700c1-review/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

Lol…I bet the security guards have that day off!
