Krazy glue (super glue/cyanoacrylate (CA)/etc.) is a very fast-curing adhesive, and so no matter how tightly you screw the cap of a small applicator bottle, it won’t stay fresh for very long. Air will slowly seep in and ruin your unused glue. How many times have you had to throw away a small nearly-full bottle of CA glue, only because it has hardened and become unusable?
I have had to throw away a number of CA glue bottles over the years, with some having only been used just once. So you can imagine why I’m so fond of single-use super glue tubes.

Single-use Krazy glue tubes are, as the name suggests, small one-time-use packets. Pierce the top, glue up your repair or project, and discard the rest. The next time you need to use super glue for anything, you have a sealed and fresh tube ready for use.
While I might get one or two applications from a full-sized bottle of super glue, a package of four single-use tubes are guaranteed to offer four applications of glue, at least for the small repairs I typically use super glue for.
If you’re the type of person that uses every last drop of super glue in a bottle, then single-serve tubes are probably not for you.
You can buy these online under Krazy Glue branding, but most office supply and home improvement stores should carry similar cyanoacrylate-based instant adhesives from other brands as well.

According to their website, Krazy Glue’s All Purpose formulation works great for “everyday household repairs” and bonds wood, rubber, glass, metal, plastic, and ceramic materials. Their Home and Office formulation works on “surfaces found in the home and office”, such as ceramic, wood, plastic, rubber, metal, and glass materials.

Since there doesn’t seem to be a substantial difference between these formulas, I typically buy whichever is cheapest and readily available.

I have found that Harbor Freight’s Super Glue does a fantastic job for the price .99cents for 3 tubes at .07oz
>.07oz x 3 = .21oz total
vs
$4.82 for 4 tubes at .017oz
>.017oz x 4 = .068oz total
At HF’s price they are worth, to me, the risk of them running bad before I use it all.
I find that I can get a month or so of use out of the HF tubes before they harden to the point where I cannot use them.

I would second the recommendation to use HF… always read the reviews, but it is at least worth trying them once….

You should give Loctite Super Glue Professional Liquid a try. I never had had to worry about the tip getting clogged or finding it all dried up. I still have the same 20g bottle for over 2 years now. I don’t know if its the type of bottle its stored in or if it is just magic, lol.

I’ve known other brands (well, specifically DevCon Plastic Surgery) of glue to have a metal pin on a plastic spring built in to the cap with a syringe type thumb button over it. It’s likely only meant to be used for the initial piercing open of the bottle, but I’ve found it useful for re-opening the container once the tip is clogged.
