Small Business Saturday 2012

Are you ready for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Thanksgiving Weekend sales? We are, with our Black Friday 2012 hub and tool deal listings for Sears, Lowes, and Home Depot. We’re also ready for Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday is exactly what it sounds like. As the U.S. Small Business Administration describes it, SBS is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities.

Which smaller retailers and distributors will you be shopping at this year? Here are the places we’ll be scouting out for tool deals.

Ohio Power Tool – they’ve got some nice deals on power tools, and a buy any Ridgid tool get a Ridgid pinup calendar for free promo.

Harry Epstein – these guys specialize in USA-made hand tools. Warning: excessive browsing may affect your finances. Be sure to ask for some free box art with your purchase.

Tool Lady – a great source for PB Swiss tools. They’re running a special during BF weekend for 25% off a single item or 15% off your entire order.

I Heart Engineering – A great source for Japanese-made Engineer Inc. hand tools such as these Bit Pit screwdriver bit holders. They also sell these tools via a storefront on Amazon.

Any other notable small online businesses to add to this list?

Especially since they are the only small business that lists the country of origin of all their products.

If you have an Amex, their $25 Small Business Saturday statement credit works for some of these small businesses too. I checked Harry Epstein and am getting my order ready for saturday!

Taylor Industrial Tools, St. Louis, Missouri (est. 1954) is offering 25% off on all American made hand tools during Small Business Saturday, which so happens to be everything in the store.
