I woke up to a pleasant surprise – Thanksgiving Day tool deals on Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, and other brands, with deals of the day and new specials at Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Amazon.
This seems like a warmup to tomorrow’s big deals and promos, and some of the new tool deals are better values than what I’ve seen this holiday season so far. Check ’em out!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Never skipping a beat, thanks Stuart for everything you do. Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family, and all fellow TG readers. This site would not be half of what it is without every one of you.
Now let’s buy some tools, gifts, and enjoy some grub! Cheers!!
Stuart
Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving! In no uncertain terms, ToolGuyd would not exist without its readers. You guys have made it so deeply enjoyable in ways I never expected or could have imagined. It can be absolutely tiring – especially this time of year, but oh so much fun, thanks to all of you!
Jim
Stuart, Thank you for all your Black Friday sales info.
I certainly appreciate your efforts.

Thank you Stuart. I took advantage of the opportunity to pick up some Forge batteries. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Stuart, Fred, and everybody! Also, the Gedore Advent screwdriver is $10 at Costco today!
MandM
Ha, I thought it was a good deal at $20 yesterday. Just bought 2, and free shipping.
Ron
Thank you! That’s insane. I just ordered 5.
Aaron SD
Thanks! I like this better than the Milwaukee ratchet for $20…

Hopefully everyone has survived the annual tryptophan overdose and like others above this late post my Best Wishes to all and to Stuart thanks so much for creating this forum with all its variety.
I ordered several Geodore ‘24 Advents fit gifts and now Costco is saying they’re sold out/unavailable. At $10 per delivered I can see why.
They also appear to be still available at several more expected German tool vendors online for six or eight times as much.
Great way to introduce their brand to a much wider audience.

@Scott F, You said it better than I can. Happy thanksgiving, Stuart and everyone else here.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Glad to be surrounded by family and friends this day.

The LTT screwdrivers and cable management system are on sale which was a surprise. PowerPlusParts had some sales for Ego stuff. I didn’t look too much at the Ego sales but could be something. Now if only Festool was on sale.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. ToolGuyd and its readers have helped me build a nice tool collection over the past few years. I’m grateful for that.
For tomorrow, I’m trying to figure out which M12 battery deal(s) make sense for me. Recently there was a short discussion/comments on the most useful amp hour selection for M12 batteries. I recall Stuart saying that the best use for 6.0 was lights but can’t recall anything else. I’m unable to locate it.
Stuart
The M12 6Ah delivers the longest runtime for light-demand tools. The M12 High Output 2.5Ah and 5.0Ah batteries are the best of the line.
Compact 2Ah and XC 3Ah and 4Ah batteries tend to be good and can usually be found at better prices with respect to cost per amp-hour.
The compact 3Ah battery is suited for certain tools, but I feel there are compromises except if strictly used in light duty tools and applications.
2.5Ah and 5Ah – best batteries for most tools and applications
6Ah – longest runtime for light demand applications
2Ah, XC 3Ah, 4Ah – good batteries that are sometimes more economical to buy
3Ah – I’d avoid for power-hungry tools or applications, and maybe even medium duty tools and tasks
If it’s the choice between 2x XC 3Ah batteries for $79, or 1x 5Ah for $99, you have to look at your priorities.
You might want to take a closer look at the M12 4Ah battery 2-pack and wall rack doorbuster.
Larry H
Very useful summary, thanks. For future reference, I’ve printed a copy to keep with my batteries. Of course the M12 4Ah battery 2-pack makes the most sense to me. Unable to order online since it’s a door buster and the nearest HD is way too far away.

All, Happy Thanksgiving. Lots of good deals out there. Amazon has the Metabo HPT Brad nailer for $99. They also have the MultiVolt plunger router for $149.
Stuart
Amazon’s deal is for the tool-only router – https://www.amazon.com/Metabo-HPT-MultiVoltTM-Cordless-Plunge/dp/B0B5M5T1ZG/?tag=toolguyd-20 .
Nothing beats the deal from earlier in the season where it also included a starter kit, but that promo sold out weeks ago. I’m not saying that to rub it in, but for reference next year when we look back.
Clay
Thanks so much for the heads up on these deals!
I grabbed 2 of the Metabo HPT kits, one with the recip and one with the rear-handled circ saw.
Was worried as all items showed low stock, but they partially filled one of the orders, so I take that as commitment to fulfilling the whole order, even if they wait for stock.
I had issued with them earlier this year just canceling orders when they realized the low stock reported on the site was incorrect and they were really out.
