Being a Dremel user for over 5 years, I will say that my 395 was one of my best tools in my tool bag. Dremel is known for their great customer service, and their very useful products. If you never used a Dremel Tool, buy one and you will be happy you did.
Two weeks ago, I lent out my Dremel 395 to a good friend of mine, who needed to do some work around his apartment. I don’t lend things out to much, but I know my friend was going to take care of my Dremel. The week after my friend borrowed my Dremel his apartment was robbed. Various items were stolen and one of the items was my Dremel 395. My friend lost many items, and I feel for him. I will not ask him to replace my Dremel 395, because I do not want to push after what happen. 9 months ago I lost my job, and like many other people I needed to apply for unemployment. Someday I will have a New Dremel, not today I can not afford much.
Life sometimes is not fair, but good days will come soon.
Take care,

im not sure if ma last comment went through but heres anotha just in case.i would be able to work on sculptures/carvings adding detail and shaping perfert shapes in my work shed which has no power points and is atleast 50 meters away from the closest power point. it would save me carting around my big sculpting and carving peices 50 meters to a power point when i could just charge up and carry a little cordless dremil to my shed. it would save my back from back paynes

Well after 30 years of dedicated service my series 300 Dremel over heated and flamed out while cutting through a five foot length window sill with the new quick disconnect wood cutting blade. It was working flawlessly for about three feet with multiple cool down periods along the way but that was it.
This Dremel has been the most versatile tool that have owned over the years and I cannot count the number of times this tool has gotten me out of a jam.
Now the research goes on to decide which Dremel to replace it with.
I was thinking it might be time to go cordless!

Out of work and honestly need one to replace the one that recently died.
I wrote one response but don’t know if it went through. If not then Praying simply that I win this because I do desperately need it and love Dremel because of its ease and accomadating little workhorse heart.
