Over at Home Depot, they have another tool-filled deals of the day event going on today, 6/14/21, and ending at 3am ET 6/15/21, unless supplies sell out sooner.
There are a couple of repeated cordless power tool kits and deal bundles from last week, and quite a few new tool deals as well.
The cordless deals from mainly from Milwaukee, Ridgid, and Ryobi.

There’s also a deal of the day on this Milwaukee 3/8″ drive socket set and Packout tool bag combo. As a reminder, the tool bag can latch on top of the socket set organizer, as it too is Packout-compatible.
At the time of this post, Milwaukee’s 3/8″ socket sets are priced at $109 as their own special buys, and the 48-22-8321 tool bag is regularly priced at $50. $129 seems like a good price for these bundles.
Price: $129

There’s also the Dewalt DWMT45049 1/2″ drive mechanics tool set on sale for $55.

This seems like a good deal on a compact 6pt 1/2″ drive socket set.
Price: $55

This Milwaukee Tool 20pc Hole Dozer hole saw set also looks to be worth a special mention. You get 13 hole saw sizes, from 3/4″ thru 4-1/2″, plus 2 arbors, 4 pilot bits, and a case, with a $99 sale price.
The hole saw deal seems to have ended.
Update: These are better Milwaukee hole saw deals:
Hole Dozer 21pc set + 23pc Titanium Drill Bit Set
Hole Dozer 21pc set + 99pc Shockwave Impact Bit Set
Thanks to Jammer for the tip!

Dewalt’s DCD777C2 drill kit is a great buy, typically retailing for $99. It’s not a drill kit I’d buy for myself today, but it’s a good choice for beginning DIYers, casual use, or to give to someone as a gift.
With today’s Lowe’s deal of the day, you also get a 14pc drill bit set which retails separately as its own $10 special buy, all for the same $99 price.
If you’re buying a cordless drill as a gift for someone, it’s always good to give them some starter drill bit as well, and the one included with this kit are excellent. Today’s deal spares you the effort and expense of having to sort the drill bits separately.
Price: $99

Over at KC Tool, their tool deal of the day is a… Knipex zippered tool pouch that’s on sale for $10. Hey, a deal’s a deal.
They’ve got free shipping on $75+.
Dad wants some quality hand tools this year, and KC Tool’s a good place to get them.

Was the hole saw deal “while supplies last?” It’s showing up for me at $193.97.

It seems so? Or maybe it was included by mistake? It’s been booted off the special buys deals page.
Sorry – I’ll update that part of the post.

“Hole”d out for a deal on the version in a Packout box – https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-BIG-HAWG-Carbide-Hole-Saw-Kit-9-Piece-with-PACKOUT-Case-49-56-9295/311036612

Those “Big Hawgs” may be better for cutting through siding and floor decks – but can’t handle a SS sink deck.
Many of our plumbers seemed to prefer selfeed bits rather than holesaws for drilling most clearance holes – even though they too were not suitable for cutting metal and a nail strike would ruin them.

Here’s a much better hole saw deal. 1 more hole saw plus two boxes of hex bits.

They’re being sneaky with their pricing.
They have the Milwaukee tape and knife as $13.49 (unit). So it’s actually $26.97. Same for the 8 1/4 Milwaukee blades (19.99/unit), so 39.98 for both blades.
I haven’t noticed home depot doing that before. Definitely not an upfront way to list prices and it’s not on some other 2 pack listings.

I’m confused.
The saw blade is regularly $30 each (according to HD and other dealers), and a special buy for $25 right now. Buy 2 with the deal of the day bundle, and it’s $40.
The tape is normally $25, and the compact knife $8. The tool set is $27, from $33 combined.
I think the “includes 2 units, $13.49/unit” is just ma settings glitch. The numbers match up, the unit pricing assumes it’s the same unit, and that’s inaccurate.
I’ve seen similar oddities on Amazon and other retailers on occasion.
I think this is a “feature” meant to help with unit pricing when buying bundle or bulk products where there might be quantity discounts, and it was simply mistakenly applied here automatically.
