This doesn’t look to be a deal of the day, it simply looks like a fantastic new special buy. You can buy this Milwaukee M12 Hackzall compact reciprocating special bundle kit, with (2) batteries, charger, and Packout tool bag, for just $99.
This seems to be a really good deal! The tool bag itself currently retails for $40, and the 1-battery kit (2420-21) typically sells for $129.
You can this and more deals like it in CPO’s “Second Black Friday” deals page.

Tool Nut has a Cyber Week special buy, where you can snag this Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless router and sander bundle kit for $279.

This BF season has been expensive. I got the m12 hammer drill & driver for $179, and now I picked up both this sawzall & stubby impact kits. $300 for 4 batteries, 2 more chargers, and the tools.
Stuart
I’d apologize for facilitating, but… I’m working on more tool deal posts for later. 🤗

My CC company & tool cabinet thanks you, my wife does not. 🙂

PayPal’s pay in six months interest free is getting a workout!

Any idea when the m12 nailer will be available?

That’s a great deal on the Hackzall + pack-out cooler !!! Tool only is normally $99, and you get a free $60 packout cooler, an old & a new battery.
Is this the old brushed model of the Hackzall??
uuinn
confusion all around: it’s the older brushed tool, with the old featureless packout tool bag, NOT the cooler.
The better packout toolbag has loops & pockets.
Still, the parts are worth more than the sale price, even if it’s about clearing old stock. With one 2.0 battery to make the deal even better.
Stuart
I wouldn’t say this is about “clearing old stock.”
The brushed motor version is still highly capable, not to mention more affordable, with the M12 Fuel model offering upgraded capabilities at higher pricing.

The brushed M12 hacksall is not capable at all in my opinion it can struggle with 1/2 drywall and certainly can’t more demanding material. If you are an insulator I could see this being a decent saw for cutting foam but beyond that it’s is fairly useless. Also I do own one it sits in the bag with the other non fuel M12 combo I bought as a backup for my guys if they forgot there tools. The drill, impactor and flashlight are used occasionally the saw never is.
Tom D
I’ve used the m12 havksall for pruning bushes and that’s about it. Seems to work well but the sawzall is easier for me (or the chainsaw).

Any good deals on Wera screwdrivers going on? I didn’t love the Amazon ones last weekend, and not finding much else.

I hate asking stupid questions, but I’m genuinely not a Milwaukee guy, so I really don’t know the answer to this.
Are these Packout Cooler/Lunch Bags ACTUALLY part of the Packout system, or are they a promotional item FOR the system? I get the concept that, as a small cooler they embody the ideals of the Packout System, just, for lunches or hydration during the day… but does the bottom latch onto a stack or tool box somehow, making it easier to carry to your worksite with the Packout system?
Again… not a Milwaukee guy… Forgive me for not knowing what must seem like an obvious thing… I saw the deals and thought “Well that’s a nice combo!” and it was immediately followed by “Wait… PACKOUT Packout? Or Packout Promotional Merch?” and it has been bugging me for days.
Francois Caen
They have feet that latch on to the top of the Packout cases.
JoeM
Really? cool! That’s really good integration! Thanks for clarifying!
Tom D
Note that some of them (including this cooler I think) are “short” if you will – a packout is normally 2 wide and 3 deep counting the notches on the top, or 4 wide and 3 deep – these are two wide and two deep.
Can make it balance a little funny.
JoeM
In all honesty, I just think it’s cool that this is a Packout product as in an ACTUAL Packout Box of some sort, not a Packout product like a promotional T-Shirt.
I’m a DeWALT guy, so I genuinely have this big blank space where Milwaukeee comes into play. I know they’re on a parallel in investment quality with DeWALT, and I’ve learned, though not easily, that being “Team Yellow” or “Team Red” doesn’t diminish the merrits of the other team. I won’t likely be buying the Packout system, I’ll likely go with TSTAK/TSTAK 2.0 (by the time I’m ready to buy the actual boxes.) for what I need.
But sometimes I see something Milwaukee does, and my brain needs confirmation that I’m seeing what I’m actually seeing, y’know? It’s a lunch box cooler that you can actually sit on the top of the stack when you are first unloading at the worksite. In fact, if some Packout boxes are 4×3, then those would be able to hold two across the top. It’s a nice design feature to actually integrate something like this!
Tom D
Replying here to the comment below – as far as the tools go I feel red and yellow are similar – I’m on team red but the yellow tools seem similar- better in some ares, worse in others.
But I have to admit that Packout is simply way above the other stackers – even above systainers. They really DID go back to the drawing board and really rethink what it meant to be stackable.
The only downside is the price and that they’re bright red – if I could get my hand on the blackout out of Europe I’d be so happy.

It seems like CPO is running multiple versions of this promo where they include the packout tool bag with varius M12 deals. Besides the OMT and hackzall, they have

I’m trying to decide if I should get that compact handheld vacuum deal. Has anyone used it? Is it decent or a don’t waste your money kind of tool? I was planning on waiting for the new M18 fuel compact vacuum but obviously that won’t be anywhere near this in price.
Stuart
$99 is a hard price to pass up.
It might be worth looking at user reviews – here’s Tool Nut’s listing.
It’s a compact hand vac meant for light cleanup tasks. I think it’s decent for what it is, as long as you don’t expect it to perform on-par with 18V-class vacuums that have beefier motors.
