Viper Armor Tool Chest

Are you struggling to find tool storage products that look great next to your mace and broadsword? Looking for something that matches the decommissioned battle tank in your yard? Do you have a thing for rivets? Viper’s Armor-series tool chests or cabinets might be the thing for you.

Viper makes a wide range of tool storage products, from cutesy tool carts to monstrous triple-bay cabinets. The company also produces feminine-targeted Original Pink Box and Original Lime Box lines, so they’re big into themes. These Armor products are built to look (and feel) indestructible.

Viper Armor Tool Cabinet

Viper’s Armor tool chests and cabinets do look to have some nice specs, and I’m not saying that tongue-in-cheek. I do like the industrial armored styling, but the colors of the riveted plates might be a bit too grungy for my liking. Brushed stainless steel would win me over a bit better.

Features:

  • 18-gauge steel construction
  • 100-lb ball bearing drawer slides (70-lb for 3-drawer chest)
  • Extruded aluminum drawer pulls
  • Top chests have stainless steel side handles and gas struts to help open the lid
  • Keyed cam lock
  • Cabinets have heavy-duty 5″ x 2″ resin casters and side handles
  • Matching pre-cut drawer liners

Prices vary, from $310 for the 3-drawer tool chest to $865 for the 9-drawer 41-inch rolling cabinet.
