Despite it being mid-2021, the Wera 2019 Advent Tool Calendar is on sale for Prime Day!
It’s currently on sale for $43.33 with an extra 20% off at checkout, for a final price of $34.66 plus tax.

This set comes with a T-handle 1/4″ hex bit screwdriver handle with locking bit holder, a stubby driver, a couple of sockets, screwdriver bits, a corkscrew, and a bottle opener.
The T-handle driver is the star of the shown. When we discussed this set a year ago, the closest Wera T-handle screwdriver with rapidaptor bit holder I could find was priced at $44-$50.
So basically, if that pricing holds true, you’re essentially buying the T-handle driver and getting all the other bits and accessories for free.
This set is a great value for the other tools and bits, but I think the T-handle driver and maybe the stubby handle as well are the stars of the show.
I bought a test sample of this set for $66.56 when it came out, and have not had a single regret. This has proven to be a very versatile tool kit, and at this sale price I’m highly tempted to buy another one.

I couldn’t resist at that price. After reading here about the Kraftform Kompact screwdriver I picked one up and it’s one of my favorite tools to use now. Their Allen’s are great as well for all the bike work I do, and with this advent kit I’ll get a cheap addition of quality bits and another quick release tool. Crossing my fingers this years Calendar doesn’t sell well and I can get it at half price too. That mini ratchet and stubby with bit storage are calling my name.

I bought it last week and was truly astounded by the sheer amount of frivolous totally “retail” packaging.
It’s like retail cosmetics overkill.
And yes I know the (northern) EU has better recycling then anything commonly accessible in the US.

Thanks for the heads up! The Wera Advent Calendar has become my Christmas tradition. I was a bit disappointed with this year’s offering. So it will be a 2019 replay at $30+ the price just feels right!

I suppose Wera is always making the tools the 2019 calendar contains, but do they keep packaging and producing the advent calendars long after the year of their release? Or did they make a bunch and just sit on them?
