Zoro is a good supplier that has great customer service. I’ve had some issues with Zoro orders in the past, mostly shipping damage, and they’ve always fixed things in a quick and near effortless manner.

How are the exclusions? Can I get a $1k+ item for 25% off or is it capped at a certain about?
Stuart
Here’s the fine print.
Max savings is capped at $2000. There are some brand exclusions, but not a whole lot.

I got this email this morning . They had a 25% off sale on $400 a few weeks ago – but it came with a code tied to my customer account.
I used to be in the habit of keeping a Zoro order list for items where 25% off their price was a good deal.
A subsidiary of Grainger, they have good customer service, respond quickly to emails – invoice and bill you after items are shipped and deal well with returns.

Looks like it applies to Fein stuff. I think it’s time for a new dust collector…
Adam
And Powermatic is also not excluded, for anyone looking for stationary tools.

I too have occasionally experienced freight damage but only on actual (Edsal?) steel shelving posts.
But their customer service people have always been exemplary in their personal telephone response.
Plus like you said very very few items are exempt from these sporadic discount offers.
And honestly we use them over bothering with our local W. W. Grainger Stores. Their site isn’t great but WTH. It’s okay.
And very infrequently they even have these pop up 25% off promos for orders as little as $100.
I have not seen a 30% off since maybe the Great Recession. But no worries. It’ll be back. Probably sooner then anyone actually wants.

In my former life, we bought an engine-driven welder from them on one of their 30% off days – when they did not cap the total $ off to $2000. I’m not sure how much if any money they made on the deal.

Air compressor I’m in the market for would still be 40.00 higher after the 25% off. The deal sounded too good and after checking a few other items I can see how they can offer that amount.
Adam
They do definitely have higher prices on some stuff, but it can still work out to being a good deal.
The two Fein vacuums I’m looking at are $430 from them ($407 elsewhere), and $542 from them ($499 elsewhere). That works out to $322.50 or $406.50, which still beat any other prices I can find by quite a bit.
Travis
Don’t overlook Nilfisk dust extractors which are included. Fein extractors are made by Karcher, which are good too.

No way I will ever hit their coupon threshold if Milwaukee is excluded. Even if they just excluded power tools, if probably but a bunch of accessories. You would think they could handle the 25% off on those
RobbyG
Power tools most likely have MAP pricing. Meaning they cannot be sold for less than a certain amount. That’s why Milwaukee is always the same price no matter where you go. The sales come down through the manufacturer.
That’s why you sometimes see “add to cart to see price”.
Something else to consider is: I’ve worked in sales in multiple industries. Typical margin for end users is usually 30-40%. Every time I’ve dealt with MAP items that’s been cut to 10-20% (as low as 7 comes to mind). So they cannot actually handle the 25% off.
